  1. Found where the "clocking" takes place. How many turns should I do? About how many turns = what amount of inches? Anybody who has done it before please shed some wisdom.
  2. Finally got myself a youtube account, had my brother record while sitting passenger.
  3. Thanks Tom. I'll figure out a way to cap it off then.
  4. I don't have the fog light anymore. However you can find similar ones at any VatoZone or similar autoparts store. They run pretty cheap. McBrat, any luck finding the article on the lowrider brat?
  5. Rear coilovers would be sweet. Theres a thread here where a guy made a bracket to swap on ea82 rear springs/struts. He used them to help with a lift, but I bet they would help with lowering too. I have a friend thats in the Hondur scene, so I'll talk to him about lowering springs.
  6. Its pshopped lol. The wheels wouldn't have the positive camber still if it was truely lowered. I need to fix my wagon first so I have something to drive when I get around to modifying the suspension on this. I think it looks pretty sick as well. Can't wait to get it done.
  7. Messed around with photochop Just a quick rendition to see how it would look, what do y'all think? I'm thinking The original
  8. Been driving this thing with no issues whatsoever. Straightened out the back bumper a bit, at least it sits the way it is supposed to now. I also cut off my sorry excuse for a muffler and just added straight pipe out. My tailgate is still in poor condition. Looking for a replacement. ^You can also just see the replacement for the blown muffler in this picture. Its just a bolted on extension of pipe. I've got some cool plans in the works. I'm thinking of lowering her. How I'll do it; Front: KYB gr2 struts for a 2WD ea81 (because they are made for a lower ride height) Some lowering springs off of a civic Back: Clock the torsion bars down If anybody has any suggestions for a better way I am all ears, this is just some ideas I had pop into mind. As for lowering springs, I don't really know which kind I should get. Also, I have read all over the forum about clocking the torsion bars, but there hasn't been a thread showing how to do it. I'm not looking for lowrider stance, just trying to get the tires to (appear to) almost touch the lip of the fenders.
  9. Got a question for you guys. Where does this (green circle) on the hvac booster connect to? Here is how long the vacum line is, cant find a spot for it to go... The hvac controls on the dash work right, I already have another line plugged in. Just wondering what this is.
  10. Updates time. Been giving her routine baths, which are a must in our NW weather. Cleaned out all my stuff several months ago, and the interior is spottless. Been casting out lines for a good fuel-injected donor engine. That will swap out the dying engine in it right now and give me a compression boost. Will keep the carbed intake manifold on, then swap a weber for the hitachi. Here is the bay as it is now. Gonna be sweet. (For a ea82)
  11. Heres a shot from mine. Idasho also has a lot of pics in his ea81 build thread he had recently.
  12. I have my alternator set up on a bracket like Subruise is talking about. No a/c compressor, no power steering, no a/c fan or condenser. Maximum mpg.
  13. ^These are the exact squids that I remember my dad using when I was a kid. Good memories.
  14. Shes a beauty. Where did the STI front lip go?
  15. Theres a dude with an ae86 that lives on my street with the same paintjob, his is blue though. We call it bassboat and powerbait lol.
  16. Welcome to the USMB. Haha the powerbait paintjob was kinda "getting silly with it". The kit didn't look so bad, not too ricey. Could have just cut the screen thing off the back bumper and called it good. Then put some oem tails and headlights on and you're almost to JDM. She looks like lots of fun. I'd love to have a wrx, but its out of my network.
  17. The supercharger idea was a fail. They could have gotten more power with a a/c delete, they left it on for some reason. The lights were a win.
