You all have known me as UberScoober since I have signed up. I thought it was about time to get a less laughable name. 6 Star refers to the Subaru emblem, as I'm a Subaru enthusiast.

This is true. Here is a slightly modified ea82t that makes a 14 second quarter mile. List of mods in his discription: The engine in the sedan that started this arguement is obviously not stock either. To Each Their Own! lol -

Brats Brats Brats... This one is a little rough, but the idea is cool. This one has a story behind it, not mine to tell, but I would very much like to see this one finished. -

Ej25 block with ej22 or ej20 heads. You can also run different combos of cams for torque or hp. Basically it gives you higher compression; giving you a more powerful motor while still being n/a. -

Nah. :-p Frankenmotor, or STI ej25. -
Look underneath for any rust or rot issues. Do they salt the roads there durring winter time?

My 4wd light is always on in my Brat as well: 2wd= 4wd light on 4wd hi = 4wd light on 4wd lo = 4wd & lo light on I've heard it is a little sensor on the 4wd lever that gets stuck. Someone else should elaborate on this, I'm looking for a fix as well.

You wouldn't want to drive it in fear of damaging all the work you put into it? Or would you be embarrased of being called a "ricer"? I know sh*t happens, which is why I'm not going to spend all the time taking all the little door dings and scratches out of my car. Some a-hole will bang his door into me regardless, or pull out in front of me, or smash into the back of me. So I will just make my cars look decent, but not mint; as long as I daily drive them that is. And I know that any car I build isn't going to be catagorized as "rice", it may not be the fastest thing around, but it will be boss. -
In Australia. So... far... away.

A modified RX sedan that I found surfing Cardomain. I think it looks better with the OZ wheels on it in one of the pictures. -

I think I'm in love. Heres some cool Brat toys that are on Ebay every now and then. -
After you weld that shut, it will be like they never existed. Heres a photo of them on the heads: Get rid of all the exess junk here (ignore the alternator bracket) The connections at the top are connected to the air filter box by flexible hoses, so you will just have two open recievers on the air filter box; one on each side. You can plug these with vacum caps. Heres how mine look welded shut: And here is a shot where you can see one side of the air filter box, just make sure you have the vacum lines that go to each valve cover still attatched.

You know, I still live at home and pay rent to my folks. Granted I have a job, but I would much rather pay rent to my parents than some unforgiving landlord. At least this way money stays in the family. I'm not in any rush to move out until I can afford a house, because an appartment/rental house is just destructive spending; paying for something you don't own. My parents know this, so they understand why I don't want to move out yet. We all get along easily, so there isn't any harm in me hanging around. -
The US was the only market that got the running lights in the plastic bumper sides, everywhere else got them on the fender. Same thing with the headlight washers, an option everywhere else but here.

The skid plate is kind of cool looking as well, coming all the way up flush with the bumper. If you can't find it on ebay, this look could probably be reproduced with Boat style handles found at nautical shops. Would probably be cheaper too. I would go with a traditional "A" style pushbar instead of this to be honest, that little bar isn't going to protect very much.
