Shine a light through the openings in the head that the pushrods go through, you should see the ends of all 4 lifters. As you put the push rods in, just have a light handy so you can see where you are putting the end of the rod. Once they are in the right spot, it just "feels right". Hope that helps. Edit: Just realized you are talking about in-car. Start from one side and "feel" with the end of the pushrod for the first lifter. It should slip into the recess end of the lifter, and then not slide around anymore inside. Then just work your way over.

I would be interested in this as well. I've heard of places that make new seat "skins" that look like the originals. Or maybe there is an upholstery place that will restore them. But yes, finding seats that are just in better condition will probably be less expensive and easier.

Updates! When I bought my parts Brats, there just happened to be a blinker housing that fit my car. It was hiding in the bottom of one of the boxes of random parts lol. So I ordered a blinker lens from the dealer. If you remember, my driver's side blinker was a fog light. The previous owner fabbed this all up. He drilled through the top of the bumper to screw in the fog lamp. It was held in by skateboard hardware. Now it looks much better. I even mounted up the bar that Pooparu sold me. Now my front end is mostly complete.

Sorry I'm gonna hang on to these for now. I may use them on my '86 wagon when I get around to working on it.

Nice Is that a pic from a previous xmas tree run? I've had the google car drive by me twice before, and not been on the google maps. x( They either don't update very often here, or they don't like me. -

That was a pretty cool meet, the fam and I had fun. My mother likes to play the photographer, so here are some of the shots she got. I got us up the hill, no problems. My dad decided he wanted to drive back down... We came across a stuck pickup and he tried to go around them. lol The funniest part of the trip was I passed by my boss, she was fourwheeling around in her jeep. Heres our tree. Crappy sell pic, I know. Anywho, was nice meeting you guys.
