  1. They are really hard to find, but a board member here (forgot who atm) has one on his hatchback. Ask Pooparu Wow! The back looks bottomed out!! lol
  2. I've got two videos for you guys 300 hp loyale (ej swap) Two nice ea81 coupes And some awesome
  3. Also, check that the rubber seal around the hatch-lid is not leaking. Exaust can come in through there.
  4. Who owns this brat now? Its pretty darn awesome. And Pooparu your hatchback is sexy.
  5. Removing the pump is pretty simple. Once the bolts are out, use clockwise and counterclockwise twisting motions while pulling outward. Never pry sideways or crooked.
  6. Hmm... Maybe we are talking about two different things? I was reffering to the part of the pump where it is flush against the engine block. I didn't use a gasket, I just put sealant on the mating surface and put them together. I didn't have to disassemble my pump so I have no idea what is going on internally.
  7. There is no gasket between the oil pump and the engine block, only a rubber ring. It would probably be best to just take the pump off, clean everything really well, and determine if you need a new pump or a new ring.
  8. Not all are turbo, but judging by Cal's description this one might be if it is all stock.
  9. They're deffinately harder to find than a wagon or sedan. Wouldn't hurt to take a look.
  10. Thanks :-p I've been into Subaru's since I was about 16, turning 20 soon so more or less than 4 years. Most of my knowledge is in the ea81 and ea82 platforms, I have quite a few teardowns and buildups between the two engine types. Yea I remember seeing all those stickers everywhere, thats the only turnoff I saw viewing the ad. (I like to try and keep my cars low profile, don't want to advertise myself. Learned that the hard way sadly.)
  11. I'm thinking that they are the happy meal ones, they don't have a place to put a battery. :-p
  12. You are all aware that "Stompers" had a first generation Brat model: But did you know that they also made a hatchback?: I dug around in my old toys a while ago, there were a lot of things that I forgot I had in there. I found two Stompers that I had, I just never knew what they were until now. They are a Dodge Rampage and Chevy S10 pickup Really wanting a Brat Stomper
  13. Aha, you must be the proud new owner of Hatchsub's coupe. Congratulations!
  14. Hey I saw this wagon on Craigslist! She looks pretty nice, congratulations on the new scoob!!
  15. Edit: Answered my own question. This is gonna be fun! I'll be with the family in our (beater) charcoal grey loyale wagon.
  16. You sir get a cyber high-five Come to think of it, Warthogs do kinda resemble Brats, from the side at least. :-p -EDIT- Apologies, PressingOnward... never saw your question about the bed tarp... not that it matters all these years later to you, but that Brumby probably has an aftermarket bed tarp. They may have been made in OZ... there were factory bed tarps also available... Warthog vs Brat
  17. I know Lol I was talking about the brat that I posted before, some people wanted some info on it. And I thought I would make my post worth while and add a picture. Moar awscum subes
  18. I don't really know any info on that Brat, sorry guys. It was quite a while ago I saved those pictures.
