  1. Hmm, that is true... Lol pros and cons for both I guess. Yes, a gen1 lego isn't older gen, but this wheeler deserves to be in this thread.
  2. A MINTY '83 wagon that was for sale for over $6,000 a while back.
  3. Very cool, I have never seen a Manatee Subaru except for that SRX poster. Imagine if Subaru had made it in formula 1, where would they be today? I'm thinking they would be along the lines of some exotic cars... "what should I get... the Impreza? Leagacy? h-12 *lambo or ferrari lookalike*?" Very nice
  4. I would never conciously send a good subaru to the crusher. The DL is very rusty underneath, and the GL is about half as bad... Both cars have the front clip cut off, but there is a good front clip to put on one of them. Both have engines, but both do not run. If anything I will just take the parts I need and then pass the rest on to the next brat lover. Or I will take the parts I need, then morph the two brats together to make one runner. Most likely I would use the orange GL as the base, It has less cancer. Yea buddy! I'm excited.
  5. She needs to go through and un-expire her dead-like pictures. Yea I thought that was kind of dumb too, they could have at least done an ea81 swap. Wouldn't have been any harder than the vw engine to get in there.
  6. They probably weren't removed, they just died from age. :/
  7. Well ladies and gentlemen, I have scored two parts brats. I will most likely end up with a lot of extra parts, so I may be putting up a parts for sale thread later on. First one, a '82 GL. And here is myself, in my hobo attire, checking out the second one. A 1983 DL. Got the GL home, along with a lot of the parts. Gonna go get the DL in the morning. What fun.
  8. This counts as Historic Generation, but its too cool to not post here. hot-rodded 360 van
  9. Thats what one of my friends said it looked like when they first saw it. Yes, she is very gangster. And welcome back.
  10. Replaced the passenger side cv axle, ball joint, and wheel bearings today. Didn't take too many photos, was just tring to get the task done. Before And during
  11. That is a pretty tight squeeze! With my low top canopy and jumpseats, I can barely fit myself in there. Nice
  12. This was for sale locally a while back. Lifted dualrange sedan.
  13. Stupid cragslist spammers That looks really nice. I think we are at opposites; your brat looks good, but doesn't run. My brat looks like poo, but runs great. You are, in a way, luckier because you have a good base to work off of. I'm currently replacing my passenger cv axle, ball joint, and wheel bearing. I got tired of hearing noises.
