  1. wish i could get it lower but wont go... wait till winter comes you should see how high i can lift it lol... Well since I have a ton of subaru parts collecting dust and rust lol... ill use what I have accumulated over the years to make something simple and fun as my daily driver.. EJ22T block rebuilt all stock EJ20k DOHC heads with EZ30 shimless buckets S204 Oil cooler V8-V9 twin scroll turbo Vipec/link plug in ecu 91 Turbo Legacy 5mt wiring hole thing front to back Stock 91 Turbo Legacy 5mt 3.900 V8 STi rear R180 3.900 diff XT6 Oem radiator Spal fans should be fairly light and with a good power band pretty quick daily driver.. first think on order is clean the EJ20k heads then off to the machine shop for a CNC clover less chamber.
  2. mine seems to be ok, I'm pretty ruff with the white car its held up... its a xt6 one also good to know I have 2 xt6 ones like that with that extra metal on it
  3. new control arms on, ohlins on, pillow ball heim joint the hole car.... feels great now just need alignment.. was testing it on the track and she handles like a dream... only thing missing was a race seat to hold me. 2015 Sparco Grid.. so light weight from there old line up of seats. STi axles now more pictures and videos of my Leone on Insta-gram @nico_zone • Instagram photos and videos
  4. Insta-gram has more my updates on my subarus https://instagram.com/pinocchio_ok/
  5. Thank you I'm using a Japanese brand for the pillow ball there nmb I believe, I get you that part number on the STi bushings.. Well been slacking on my journal here is my Instagram more recent stuff and videos up https://www.instagram.com/nico_zone/
  6. got to have a good eye to find it on the net its out there and lots of it... what you after ? thank you Loyale 2.7 Turbo ! you guys in the usa got the jdm plastic but never the light weight beam.. pics are up to show it.. its so light I say maybe 2 lbs maybe. Canada was the only country to get that special bumper plastic on the 86 year which I have. LOL... its just a unit to hold the plastic up very thin and less metal I can twist it with my hands... more for the fog lights they bolt on now. ill do some track day events for fun, but in the end its my daily driver... motor swap is coming ea82 is dying a slow death. pics up.. sorry i didnt get to take pics when i took it apart, its been sandblasted and powder coated now.. the beam is super light compared to the north america one in the back... black one is jdm its pretty much hollow in the middle like a U shape sand blasted and powder coated the JDM Leone RX bumper so it will last along time light weight Leone RX JDM bumper is and all the Subaru Leone fog lights OEM HSD coilovers with pillow ball rear top hats installed and just need to level it out a bit in the rear and it rides amazing. there is no camber adjustment on these old Subaru's but now i got camber plates and -4 deg lol once it get warm ??? i can put my gold enkie's on for summer
  7. finally found a JDM bumper for my car in japan, this is the RX Leone one its got super light weight jdm beam and means i can finally mount all my OEM subaru fog lights to the wagon..
  8. ya ill have to make something for sure to hold it stiff in there... cars all most out for summer to try all these new toys on it cant wait... so since I was making stuff I made pillow ball bushing inserts for my arms in the rear to give it that razor sharp handling... cusco design Porsche 911 has all most same design look rear arms and they also upgrade with pillow ball
  9. its funny you say that I been looking at these.. i think nissan toyota used these.. the two bolt look like they fit in our arms. I would just need to remove the large mount we have that holds the 2 rubber bushings.. then spin the rod to length on one of the 3 bolt holes we have under there. ill measure things up soon.... also the caster I have on the top set at 4 deg I think, I forget its been a while now. ohlins custom made for the Leone STi.. lower mount was machined new to be used with the oem 2015 STi pillow ball bushing.
  10. man i love your car !... wish i could get my hands on one of these older ones
  11. summer tires check mark... Nankang NS-2R 185/60R14 treadwear index: 120 (for racing) 86(XL) http://www.nankang-tyre.com/home.php?fn=eng/products_car_detail&lv1=1&lv2=7&no=12 they should keep the 70hp wagon glued around the corners this year, 350 bucks how can you go wrong lol
  12. lol I couldn't put them down at the store so I had to bring them home with me... I hope they live up to the hype thank you !! I would love a Brat and would do the same even if I found a mint one, in the end you cant bring your toy to the grave so might as well put a smile on the face when you get in it and drive it the way you made it.. that's just my thought on it motivation from me to you good sir ! http://www.customstreeter.com/feature_subaru_brumby.html http://www.autospeed.com/cms/article.html?&A=111465 those bonus pics are some of the cars my pops works on lol ill have to pass on that joke with the wiring to him he will get a kick from that haha so here they are, my very own aluminium control arms like the big boy STi have. now the little Leone can be up to STi spec ! But the little Leone has 1up on the STi with the 2015 STi oem pillow ball bushing in its place 25mm longer so now I can run oem cv axles from a STi or those 800hp ones..
  13. so instead of breaking the bank in making a rear top mount, I had some tein top hats kicking around and decided to use the centre section that un-bolts and holds the spherical bearing in place. the bearing need to be replaced and the aluminium ring busted so I got my machine shop to make me new new rings with 6 point 30mm socket on it. ill get the same hole size drilled in my stock hat and weld it in place and get it powder coated so it last long time.
  14. gotcha ill have to keep a eye on them.. they seam to be ok so far the company that makes them is whiteline and super pro and nolathane.. I am coming up with something new for all that also on my white car all spherical bearings for the laser sharp handling its a non turbo, in canada suabaru does things different like add a dash from a turbo car lol.. its na PT 4wd... ill snap a pic of motor soon for you.. well really i can slam it and raise it super high since I got coils going on with extra high adapters.. i'm not feeling the two tone but its a daily driver, maybe will paint it all one colour will see what i do with it in the summer.. so since I wont be needing any of my hsd coil overs on my sedan I decided to use them all on the wagon. so after thinking about it I came up with this ice cream cone cup idea... the front hub on the old subarus had a slide in shock like a ball joint and bolt holding it in... got a machine shop to wip up a cup that slides in my stock hub and he made threads so I can add coil overs in the top.. there is also a hole in the bottom so I can adjust the coil overs with a allen key... the rear ill use spherical bearings and a new top hat I got coming.
  15. my guys are so busy they made mine and told me its going to be a while.. but i have another way of doing this with out costing so much which you will see in the wagon build i have going on... got new tricks for coilovers in the wagon... so this is my rear top hats bolted up with spherical bearings.. the lower cups also have 2015 STi spherical bearings made buy subaru which I needed to make a spacer. I decide to get serious with my coil-overs to make this car handle like a top notch missile and I got the GR STi Ohlins road & track set.. I have to do two mod's to make them fit perfect which is the lower rear bushing mount will be made new with a STi spherical bearing and drill the front top plates to early subaru size like leone/gc8. my reactions from just holding the ohlins is how light weight they are WOW half the weight of my hsd.. like to thank jake @ ohlins usa for hooking me up with the extend clickers also !.. there on the way.

    My RX

looks amazing with that rim choice !! your RX is amazing cant wait to see more you got me drooling !
  17. yep 14' wheels.. better tire selection for summer fun. my dealership still has stock of the hubs.. there not cheap ill tell you that much ill send you the price over pm you decide or check your dealership with part number. I rather use new oem Subaru made parts because they will out last any of those cheap parts at half the price... in the end you pay more for using the cheap parts over the factory stuff. that's what I learned... dont get me wrong there is some stuff that is made better like performance things.. its getting warm out for sure once the snow melts ill order the tires up for summer time.. rally guys go through dirt rocks and gravel which will cut the bushings for sure, i have the same stuff on my sedan with no ill affect but ill check them out and get back to you.. for now they seem perfect What a mess this week was !.. after losing a brake line to rust it was time to strip this wagon down and start phase 1 of the project. who ever owned this car before me just didn't like to grease anything ! cv axles where rust/weld to the rear diff and hubs ! disaster front axles where some knock off junk crap that had to be cut off !.. axle looked new and at 100kms the front would shake like I had all my rims and tires unbalanced ! Oem Subaru front brakes, rotors, bearings, seals, bolts. cv axles all re done with oem boots clamps and grease, also kyb shocks installed, whiteline 20mm sway bar. Oem Subaru rear disc turbo brakes conversion rebuilt with all new parts, bearings, bolts and XT6 rear arms with the 20mm sway bar and new kyb shocks. rear has all the bushings for that tight feeling like my white sedan with the xt6 moustache bar for the bigger bushings, braided brake lines all around. how does is drive so far... just amazing what new brakes bushings and shocks can do to a car feel.. 100km+ feels smooth as butter !... the motor is now the weak link and needs more power to over come the good handling with stopping power.
  18. its my madness project lol, but glad you like how its come along.. still more to come but fixing small things for better performance subaru 80's old meets subaru 2012 new moulded into one... cnc billet aluminium & anodized black, now I can add a pillow ball at the top mount like the front.. next project is cnc billet aluminium front control arms with pillow ball and 1' longer so I can get some larger cv axles to with stand the abuse I am about to put down. cv axles will be new age subaru length.
  19. wow that is going to be a monster truck... nice job on it so far
  20. i couldn't believe how good it is... the button is amazing lol... need a rear lsd to make it perfect i think. the what ? nos rear hub ? everything is from subaru there.. 1989 enkie meet 1992 enkie, perfect fit caps in retro style.. well I guess stoptec rotors came in... guess ill use them after all..
