  1. lol bring it on over so this is what else I'm working on at the moment along with the lower pillow ball bushing for my coil overs, I decided to get a one piece unit made so I can get rid of the rubber spacers and all that mess.. this is a prototype unit to test on the car then i can get them made up once it fits ok. black is 80s strut mount, green is coil over mount.. needs a bit more work to be perfect fit also found the rear garnish in japan for my car, maybe ill put it on. to many holes to drill in a clean car.
  2. thank you, still got lots to do so its not over yet so decided to improve the handling of the car a bit better and I noticed the 2015 uses rear spherical bearings. I had a machine shop shave them down each side 1.5mm and made a spacer to take up the slack for pressing them in my lower suspension mount in the rear of my coil overs locally I found a nice set of ES-Tarmac ENKEI wheels 5x100 16x8 et45 14lbs wheels, super light weight compared to my braid wheels started to build the spare motor, Ej22T stock crank, 10mm oil pump, ACL bearings, Carrillo Rods, Wiseco pistons, cometic head gaskets, ARP Custom Age 625+, V9 STi heads, killer b pick up, and allot of new factory case bolts and plugs gaskets
  3. well the new year has lots of snow days in it which the Loyale slices through like a hot knife !.. two feet of snow BLIZZARD cant stop this little wagon. lots of parts came in and its all most time to do a proper brake & suspension job on this wagon oem subaru bolts, brake rotors F&R, rear disc hubs, whiteline 20mm non turbo sway bar, brake pads, rebuild kits spares. I was going to get slotted rotors but they messed up the order and I cant wait that long to swap this stuff.. the leone wagon needs some love after the snow has stop falling.
  4. lol i been looking for a coffee cup holder for every, wedged in the seat actually works really well at half a cup of coffee so there is no spilling haha.. i have seen them on the brumby in japan but only the square head light ones... the way it stays on is steal tabs. its like the gc8 rain guards.. i'm pretty sure the gc8 or legacy new styles will also fit on the same way and might actually work on the old subarus.. never tried but its pretty close
  5. I hope the gold looks ok on the lower black, will have to wait till summer to see the wheels on... I might strip the hole car and paint it all one colour. lol I got a hole collection of fogs over here... I want to add them but then I dont... well I just love recaro... new foam still can be ordered from recaro for these seats after installation of the fresh washed fabric ready to go in the wagon.. I think its a perfect match, these seats feel right at home in the wagon. JDM seat rails still made for these Leone models.. Juran racing from japan, best part is you buy the base and the sliders come with the base welded all up ready to go http://www.tanida-web.co.jp/Pages/railpage/rail_match_subaru2013.html http://www.tanida-web.co.jp/
  6. subscribed.... amazing love it all, another old school subaru saved and done right !!....... put that ej22t in there
  7. rims are done and ready for summer in STi gold.. got a front spoiler out of California for the wagon to give it some looks, cant wait to lower it now.
  8. lol you got a good eye !... i was thinking about it, will see in the summer once i get to work on it more... step two after sand blasting paint the back of the wheels.. GK1 STi gold paint code
  9. nice work your doing !.. I have 2 JDM steering wheel hubs with that same spline if you decided to change that wheel
  10. I just ordered those from the dealership... the one on drivers side is square like all other subaru ones.. the one on the manual rack is special to that that rack..
  11. oem front brakes rebuilt with all oem Subaru stuff new bolts here and there and the rear control arms with some poly bushings for better handling.. now I can add the xt6 20mm sway bar I got to match the front 20mm.. and my summer rims have arrived, sand blasting and new paint job should make them look sweet again..
  12. never mind my wagon.. I seen your build thread yours is amazing, I wish I could still find something like that in canada !.. suspension came in from KYB, new shocks should freshen the ride back up and since I'm sticking with my 4x140 bolt pattern and oem knuckles, got my brakes sand blasted and powder coated red, also go my brake lines made up in SS braided lines. new rotors and pads are on the way along with new seals so I can rebuild everything and add TURBO disc brakes on the rear.. funny thing is one front STi brembo calliper has the same amount of pistons as all four of my brake combined haha
  13. lol well if you ever come to canada you can come by and check some stuff out... there is lots of sets for sale in japan most of them are 13" but when these came up I had to have them.. its got the same fabric its really close in the loyales... I found out that there actually 1999 chevy lumina police pak seats... there is a sandy brown style also. so since I have lots of time waiting for my japanese seat bases to come in, I decided to strip the seats down wash the covers and i called up recaro usa for some new padding for the bottoms... also these seats have some type of fire proof stuff on them the grey padding on all the foam.. once you peel it all off you get a better depth in bolsters comfort.. also got the lower seat fabric stitched up better common problem with these seats is the fabric splits and you have a hole..
  14. so I found some sweet RECARO LS-VF in blue cloth, decided to get them since they match the interior of my loyale very well. also managed to find a nice set of ENKEI Rally Compe wheels from japan for the Leone cars, made in 89. not a bad size also 14x6 4x140 et38, ill make them my summer wheels after sandblasting & powder coat to refresh them back up.
  15. every time i come in this thread it makes me miss my legacy's... dccdpro is a good unit, works amazing in the snow
  16. very nice work and project car you got going on
  17. I wish I had time to joke but I'm for real if your interested let me know... i only have one rule dont mod them or take them apart or else there not worth it anymore. you have the super rare canada only bumpers like me, but mine came painted oem white like my car.
  18. can I buy your front and rear bumpers ? ill give you 500.00 for them
  19. well its all back together now and ready for some winter driving, it will be time to strip down the donor car for the swap. I found a sweet set of old school aftermarket wheels... 13x5.5 4x140 ET41 ROCKETS here is the new rims and new snow tires ready for 6 feet of snow... DUNLOP Winter Maxx 175/70R13
  20. thanks for the reply ill let you know what I decide on the project once I strip the undercarriage apart..
  21. thank you, I wont make this insane like my sedan but I do have lots of spare stuff to make it rather fun to drive all year long. yep your right, I loved the look of the sport wagon so I'm going to copy it a bit with out the raised roof thank you, but this will be a simple build more fun in all the season with road trips in mind.. the funny thing is I see allot of those mirrors and 14' wheels you speak of for the Leone cars but for the mirrors I don't want to drill in the doors and have more rust area to deal with... the wheels I might pick up but I just found a super rare set ill be showing off once I'm done.. i got a new set of tires coming in also but they will be skinny as well 175/70/13... they make race tires which i think in the summer i will get once I make the handling tight like my sedan... thank you, the add made me want to do this project for sure... as for my camera I just use my iphone 5S nothing special.. well its back home all painted restored and new glass new hood and the repair to the lower section... crappy I have to daily drive it in the Canada winter with all this salt on the roads !.. ill oil spray it like crazy before and after I put the car back together.
  22. my JDM broacher inspiration time to get to work on this beauty panel bond 3M the wind shield was cracked and need a new one, the replacement was done by a butcher and never cleaned the channels and rust started all around the window so that all need some rust care and the metal is all good up there ! new wind shield is on the way also all the body work done with new metal even the front fenders since I couldn't find new... I ordered some fenders from the wreckers in Las Vegas California to be sure there was no rust all most done now, new OEM Subaru hood painted and roof.. glass is going in this week and I cant wait to drive it again
