  1. well from last year to this year it seems that my oil pressure was not normal, quiet low. I am looking into what the problem was. so far I checked the rod journals and they seem to be in spec even with the killed #4. ill have to check the rods them self. there is allot of don'ts that I did in this block which I never should have done. manley I guess makes good rods just not my cup of tea. i rather use the highest quality part for the job. the 11mm oem pump was a mistake for sure. my motor came from subaru with the 10mm and thats the one i should have used like all my other running builds to this day another mistake was sticking in a crank from a different subaru block which didnt come from the factory pre assembled like that. my motor died on the dyno at only 18 psi. last year on the small turbo I was at 23psi. all in all its a lesson learned and ill be back soon with all the mistakes taken care of in the right way ! lol i wish i could have done that, soon i will get that chance.
  2. Your up grades sound really good looking forward to the progress !.. The wet seat is the sunroof I take it lol.. Common problem.. You must take the hole track down and re seal the track on the tray.. Just did that to the one I'm building.

  4. so since I am waiting for Franz to come visit and do the magic on the tune for the s300sx, I add some Hella 550 amber retro lights. and the 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV, 86 Subaru VS 86 Alfa lol
  5. no tune yet with the big turbo, it will be next week some time cant wait ill look up and see if i can find it on the legacy board. Ver 2 turbo pipes all made simple and silicone, with the fancy clamps. soon its time to tune this craziness.
  6. the xt6 sway bar is pretty cool since its oem 20mm back in the day old school lol thanks well the new BW s300sx FMW fits and is in, along with the JDM STi magnesium valve covers. also had to take the timing belt off and pulleys so I could get to the oil feed line for the AVCS and get the screens out !.. pain in the butt but i had to get it done. good thing I have room still for the 4" cone aem filter and set up for this turbo. I had also changed the vacuum lines for the dual wastegates to hi temp silicone to handle the heat stress in that area. just need to wait for the turbo pipe I ordered so I can complete it all. and the new brakes set up with stainless steel pistons better for heat transfer on the fluid
  7. those look sweet nice work you did to them ! there huge also lol 18x8.5 is really wide, wish i could use that stuff ! air port is for vac line on the turbo, numbers marks i have no clue but that is where i put the port lol. i sold my wheels to a guy with the same style wagon as you, he is on the legacy board he showed me pics and i miss them but they look really freaking good on that body style ! well today was a perfect day to pull it out and start the work on the car, lots of rain wash the salt away so why not bring the car home. my new black wheels that are so black i cant get a good pic of them lol GC8 VOLK Rays STi 5x100 16x7 ET 53 with the proper stickers for how ever long they last lol. also i was going to use these on my Legacy EG33 build, but ill use them here first. Whitline KSB751 will reduce rear-end float particularly under acceleration... why not fits like a glove lol made for the new style subaru 1989 to 2007, subaru sure does love re using something that works well over many years.
  8. ^^ thats such a cool video and car thanks for sharing that Turbo Seal Clamps Constant Tension Turbo Seal Clamps - With a convoluted heat-treated band that provides spring-like tensioning effects for thermal cycling hose applications. Murray’s unique “DUAL BEAD SHIELD” concentrates band-sealing pressure, increasing performance up to 30% compared to standard smooth liners. Flanged edges protect soft hose compounds from abrasion and wear. when you need the best like the real real races cars !! then these are the best ! http://www.murraycorp.com/constant-tension-clamps.html
  9. pretty crazy how the STi magnesium valve covers are so dark inside also need add a air port fitting for the s300sx it was same for my s200sx, ill add it where that top bump with numbers are on top left corner.
  10. hmmm ok thanks for the info, got to figure this out ill see how much it cost for them and see what is shipping then you tell me if you want to buy them off me, whats your email well spring is near they say, but lets get real its still going to snow like today lol, so in the mail today some new toys have come in. 5x100 16x7 et46 Volk GramLights 57s.... good for maybe 225/50/16 I hope I can make it fit with out rubbing. ST132594S000 JDM STi Magnesium valve covers. "The STI Magnesium Valve Rocker Cover Set Impreza GD GG is a high spec part available from this exclusive company and come ready for the street/circuit/windy scene/drift. Not only significantly lightening the engine, the visual effect of having this in your engine room will surly scare any competitor who sneaks a peak under your bonnet." LOL and the part that makes the scaring of the competitor really happen ! Borg Warner AirWerks S300SX FMW 0.91 A/R (maximum spool) dividided twin scroll.
  11. ya my steering is some crazy stuff, but that's comparing it to the new subaru stuff. i can turn my wheels and all most do full circles lol.... it feels really good so nibble its crazy how good this car is set up. i was really shocked at how crazy this steering was when i got the car, then all the stuff i did made it feel so much better. it would be fun to see what my car would feel like with a xt6 rack in it, I might have to get one to do a test. hmm ok thank you for the info.
  12. when I built the car last year I didn't check the size of the xt6 arms then after driving the car I had this annoying vibration coming from the front last year, so annoying that I took everything a part to look over and seen the small bolt and bigger arm of the xt6. so after drilling a bigger hole to add the proper xt6 bolt, I put a couple of km's on it. when I checked that, I had a slight rub on the metal. this summer I want to fix this problem, I was thinking just drop in the EJ turbo crossmember, but it looks like that wont work also. I might try your idea or actually cut a section out and re weld a new pocket for a little room, your idea will also add a bit more camber which also sounds better. what is the advantage of the xt6 rack vs my ea82T rack ? nothing is wrong with my rack, just the idea of swapping the EJ crossmember i was thinking. also I read there is a non power steering rack for the ea8t which I was thinking also. thank you for your input !
  13. ok, what is different in the two crossmember's ? is the ej longer ? the holes in the rails dont line up ? my xt6 arms rub in the pockets in my ea82t crossmember. thank you for your help also !
  14. I'm having a little problem finding this info and maybe someone has tried this all ready ? will a EJ Turbo crossmember bolt up in a 1986 gl-10 ea82t ? will the xt6 control arm fit in and bolt up with out rubbing ? will the EJ power steering rack work with the ea82t steering joint, same spline ? why do i want to do this the xt6 control arm is rubbing in my ea82t crossmember. thank you nico
  15. thats what i am running which 225 on 17 specs on the wheels you use to not rub at all ? what about backing plates and rotors all xt6 stuff ? or like me
  16. hmmmm what brakes and backing plates are you using ? my 16x7 et53 have about 1 inch and half of space... but the 17 are way to close.. i think maybe my et53 offset is to much a spacer if i take the nuts off ? i was just going to use longer bolts and nuts flip the arm and push out the bearing and flip that the other way also. i want to get the car out and try it all so will see once i pull it out right now just a quick idea i had...... and now that you said the shock i think your right i will be hitting the shock on those huge 22B wheels.. 1cm or 10mm thick .... other spec i need to push out spindle from bearing so i need time. it looks off center but i was thinking of pushing it out and flipping that also, i try not to cut and weld to much i am more a mixing and matching person first then cut and weld lol i dont think the 22B wheels will fit like Numbchux said his rubbed on the shock, sure looks like these wheels will to ! so maybe we can put them on your legacy hehe
  17. so this is a rear 1986 Subaru control arm, when adding wide wheels with low offsets like Subaru loves it can rub on the rear arm on this old car. here you can see how much room i have to play if I put on a 17x7.5JJ ET53 stock subaru wheels that can fit Brembo brakes, also the front is not like this its normal Subaru style up front on this car so any wheel is ok so what have I come up with ! simple easy is flip the arm around to the other side ! looks like the little Leone can put the rubber down to the ground now, 225/45/17 and i could use STi Brembo brakes now for the extra stopping power. Hey !!!!! why stop there ???? Lol... lets pull out a STi 22B BBS wheel and see if we can add the monster wheels on the Leone so 235/40/17 17x8.5JJ ET48 even fits !! guess its time to show some people how its done on the track this year ! now i am really excited to pull the car out and see if this all works out perfect.
  18. thank you ! this is all the fun i got really but its fun when its all done and i guess fun building it to. love driving it more then building it. LOL is that a dare ???.... one more set i need those sub zero rs ones now those are rare now days and should fit perfect on the car. but i found something very new last night playing with rear control arms on the gl-10 !! i can wait for the car to come out now, people are going to love this mod if it really works for me.. lets just say i put those 17x8.5 235/40/17 wheels on and they fit perfect which means anything we can run on the old car, so excited to show this if it works on the real car !!
  19. think i found my 17" wheels ?????? by my calculator calculations it looks like they will fit. that means i have to get a set of STi Brembos up front. if they don't fit guess ill have to put them for sale S202 STi RAY'S VOLK FORGED 5x100 17x7.5JJ ET 53 SUBARU TECNICA INTERNATIONAL STi FORGED MADE IN JAPAN
  20. WOW fastest shipping in the world took place ! my GODSPEED BRAKES stainless steel brake caliper pistons got here i just placed the order like on Tuesday and there from the UK !! time for me to get to work
  21. hehe buy low sell high i guess i wanted them for so long the rocker covers and i think this build should have them the most. so i just hand painted one subaru decal on the 4 pot, came out all right i think. now i need to find the stickers for the rear 2 pot some where. looks ok with the black GC8 volks i did in black.
  22. i think the diff thing was 80 ill check for you lots more to come, i want 400whp on the dyno dynamics i really like both tires, but there is something about the re-11 that made me feel like i could push the car harder in corners and they where very quiet tires felt smooth. there should be the new re-11a coming out that ill be getting so i found another set of JDM Subaru FHI 4 pot 2 pot, i had them sand blasted and now powder coated red. i got new oem seals to rebuild them & some GODSPEED Brakes stainless steel pistons to rebuild them with, also need to paint the letter's on the calipers white and find a sticker for the rear. ill most likely sell the other gray set that are on the leone or use them for the next build that's going on all ready also got some nice STi Magnesium Valve Rocker Cover Set coming in, very excited for these all ways wanted them. also its all most time to order my new turbo the S300SX FMW so i can make my goal of 400whp on a dyno dynamics dyno.
  23. what car model ?

  24. ya i was so thinking the same idea but these recaros will only be used when i'm at the track doing some lapping days, that way the seat can hold me in around corners. also i have found some fabrics that will be good for what its worth, ill just put the original seats away for a rainy day. so my rims got done ready to roll again, thanks to NVauto for installing the tire's again . So the other gold set i have will be face sanded and re painted gold. one more thing that i need to add to them which is in the mail on its way.
  25. i will find out but my car is in storage right now for the measurments. WOW very nice ! i have all ways used the STi seat in all my other build's.. this time i want something diffrent and lighter so i got one of my set of STi TE37 VOLK sand blasted ready to get painted a colour that i have not picked yet, i'm thinking a nice glossy jet black but will see soon. also some oem subaru parts have come in, new XT6 front control arms. i have to problem's that i need fixing with these. 1 is the bushing end rubs in my subframe arm, 2 i dont have camber in the front. ill be adding something like these to the arms so i gain in both aspects also i have ordered another rear diff support mount, which i will be adding a new bushing in the middle to help with the flexing in the rear R180 diff. if your driving behind my car, as i shift in a gear ! you can see the diff flex, which all most looks like its going to fall out lol.
