made it speedhunters which is a nice bonus http://www.speedhunters.com/2012/12/subaru-leone/ so future plans will be doing 400whp Dyno Dynamics with a new turbo GTX3576R coming in soon. well i just got my extra recaro seat in, looks amazing. ill get it steamed cleaned to refresh it.
-
so you used the rails from subaru to the flat bottom of the recaro ? and the front holes matched up perfect to one another ? do you have pictures or journal to view
-
ya thats my pick also nice ! with your recaros how did you do the bottoms ? my cars in stoarge so need to figure that out when i get it back. i know the subaru seats un bolt in this car so its perfect for this, does it just lay right over and drill new holes in the recaros ? so instead of getting those seats i went with some use old school mk2 jetta power recaros if im not mistaken. ill get them re done in tip top shape new bolsters and bottom foam and what ever is need once apart. the problem is finding the same fabric that subaru used, i really dont want to be re doing the hole insde of the car just becuase it wont match.
-
^^ thank you guys well i am getting ready for next spring and i really need seats for this car the factory seats do not hold you in at all ... ill put them in plastic in storage away so no worries lol. so two choices RECARO blue vintage $2500.00 OR RECARO LS in blue $1200.00 this RECARO $350.00 seat there is only 1 which has the same colour !!! LEONE inside

yep should do the job very nice, next year stage 2 and maybe race gas on the track will see how it goes well i found the most rarest part in japan for my car ! with the help of Yoshifumi @ japan dream direct.. http://j-a-d.ocnk.net/ . The Leone Turbo OEM Subaru window visor !! these puppies are made out metal not like the 90's plastic type one's, these one's hold there shape even in wind tunnel testing. they slice the wind like a ninja sword, and cut rain water in half lol also got some new track wheels for summer, tire i have not picked yet.

so my usplastic stuff has come in and its time to put in my provent 200 & got a little reservoir for the AWIC set up and it works perfect. here we have it all put together and ready to rock. made some brackets out of rod aluminum to hold it in place and its working perfect, oil is being seperated and dumped back the right way. also used my factory coolant reservoir and re mounted it to the strut top with a nice aluminum plate. the AWIC reservoir fits perfect in that little corner and its working perfect.

well my jdm rally book has come in and i think vinyl wrap is coming lol the first rally cars My LEONE !! look at the bolt pattern 4 at first next year 5x100 lol... need to vinyl wrap it haha my car was the lightest subaru ever made 900kg My OLD baby !!!

ya i have to cut holes in the hood no simple way around it lol i wish i could live where the weather was all ways warm so i can keep ym car on the road all year. if you build it fast keep it awd, this car needs it for sure or else i would be not moving at all at the lights i had to do it sold my legacy turbo just to get me moving on lol... but it will never be done i all ways like doing more and more. dyno sheet is on the way but it makes 320whp on 25psi fifty more then the 17psi road tune that was stupid all ready to be pumping out this car. maybe ill get a bigger turbo housing to make 400whp but its all ready to much to control. so i got my STi coupler in and i am building the air oil separator system witch i can put in soon once my plastic fittings come in mann hummel provent 200 and i welded a nipple for the drain back on my stock dip stick tube. you need a one way valve and i got high temp o rings for the provent 200 lid. the hose is a bmw 1990 325 6 hose witch has a step in it the same size as the provent 200.

franz took those pictures he sure does know how to take them so nice its crazy so i went to Washington D.C to visit Franz and he did a little work on the car and he took me to see the crazy city which is just amazing to see and i cant wait to go back for part 2 of the city !! Abraham Lincoln says hello Franz's one of a billion cool tool's he owns ! my leone getting all its numbers crunched to perfection ! little vid franz made me a new shorter pipe from scratch in a matter of minutes, and he gave me the fancy clamps to hold it right. we also put in oil temp, oil pressure, fuel pressure sensors to watch whats going and everything is good ! so much went down this week here is some extra pics from the dyno session, the guys at IMA Motorsports know there Porsche's it was Porsche heaven, i was sourounded buy flat six's with huge turbos making stupid power every where i looked such nice people at IMA Motorsports ! all these porsche made me think why am i messing with this four bangger when subaru made the best six which is a ej22 with a extra 2 lol.

lol, the 6mt fit becuase i lowered the motor 1 inch and a half, also the tranny is a 1 inch and a half lower. i used forester spacers up front on the motor subframe shaved them down to 1 inch and a half. for the tranny i used the xt6 brace up front with the spacers from the gl-10 fwd plus rubber to make it more noise less. also the middle section on the tranny brace is xt6 with the rear is a cut and weld xt6 bracket. ill take pics but everything i used is subaru parts spacers and rubbers. need to change my gas tank soon and ill update for you with pics on what i did, its very simple.

no worries, when you come back up any time its not going any where just getting better lol glad you like it lol its funny you say that.... my buddy had just finshed his 86 stang with about the same power level, if my gas tank did not split like a pop can i was going to last week drag him on wednesday. if my tank comes in tomorrow ill head to the track ready to give it a go 86 vs 86 thank you, yes the tanks fit perfect no mods done just make brackets and done. about the a/c yes i had it working but just took it out becuase i need to move more air and more room for a better cooler. i put it away so when ever i want it back i can drop it in again. lol thank you !! yep so in order to lower my intake temps with out cutting my hood i sacrificed my a/c system . by getting rid of the a/c system i gained just about 20 degrees off the 60 degree iat temp, out side temp is 20 degree. i just could not cut the hood with out trying the last step, a massive awic cooler (26x7x2). if this does not cool my intake then i am busting the saw out and going to town on the stock hood or the brand new OEM one i have laying around that i picked up for this problem. so as of now car runs good at 17psi i am a drifter out of control with awd lol. my gas tank sprung a leak do to the vent line sensor not working should have un plugged it like i did for my legacy ! instead it split it self down the side of the tank like a pop can. a new OEM subaru one is on its way so i can put more then 10bucks in the car and make my way to see Franz and get it tuned on the dyno by the end of this fall weather.

ya he does amazing work, ill get him to do my net set up for sure in the future. ill try and push but i got a bit of work to do after this week has past well Franz has come and gone and it was a busy time while he was here. i had a couple problems that i need to fix to make it work right. so i could not get my dyno time My grocery list ! 1... i need to cut vents in the hood because this subaru intake temps are way to hot ! :firedevil: 2... i need to make a safety strap on the drive shaft, also add a little better support on the rear diff so it does not end up on the tarmac ! 3.... move my water coolers in a better place what we have now is a 17psi road tune that to be honest is just crazy to even go to 25psi how fast this car is right now. i am kind of glad i didn't get all the power at once its a tricky car to drive that's for sure. once i fix the problems then 25psi dyno tune will be done, ill push for the end of the season but no promise its getting late and the car needs to be put away soon. Franz pictures

LOL i think a wagon would look good with the rack up there hahah. but thank for the compliments she is all most done. version 1 is all ways the hardest but version 2 will be even better. well water box is in, its so well made its crazy to put it in there but it must. gave Donny the inch and boom he makes it up fast quick and pressure tested. http://dadscustomintercoolertank.com/

lol what suspense ? if everything goes well this week its dyno tune time. just waiting on one last part and its broken in ready for the dyno. i put about 3000kms on the new motor so it feels great hit boost a couple times and its really scary something is going to snap like the shafts for sure. if shafts dont snap, its going to lay some serious rubber smoke down. very hard to control under boost but it hugs the corners like its on rails way better then my legacy or gc ever did.

so the muffler on the car is really ************ty sounding like raspy fart can that is so loud. it makes the car look and sound like garboo ! Franz gave me a link to some mad muffler people that don't F around in this department in building a car ! its not cheap but it sure is for life. these exhaust open up, when it wears out then you buy a new core. its high quality no messing around ************ ! o and its light weight good god !! this italian salami weights more then the muffler Aerospace Hardware & Fasteners my 2x ealr's coolers for my awic system that will be put in once the water reservoir comes in. and my father made me a nice aluminm battery bracket to make space for the intercooler water tank. battery is on the strut tower wall now like a boss. maybe a aim cluster ???? (mount it in the glove box) but so i can watch EVERY SINGLE thing going on in the motor section lol right Dov lol. fits nice if i do get it.
-
Will just wait and see what happens I'll wrap them also So true lol... Yep for some reason ea fwd ones that came out the car fit the best http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTQCAceEuBo&feature=youtube_gdata_player
-
its not bad, so far so good LOL yep it sure has been to long a hole summer with out speed is no good !! but you think they will melt even that far away ? i guess i could make them more away but the pic dont give it the right space i guess. guess will have to test it out and see
-
next year a will make some bracing, its to late and at this point i want to break it in and get it dialed in. thank you no worries, its all most done cant wait. yep all ready test driving it, just need water coolers and i can driver her fast lol... ill get you some pics of what i did. well Franz helped set the car up making sure everything was up and working checking over all system a go !! no joke.. the internet is a amazing think, plugged her up via internet next i know he is turning on fans, fuel pump, injectors and so on ! VIDEO no exhaust VIDEO with exhaust exhaust dump pipes

LOL LOL LOL LOL ************ i have a feeling you are so right ! lets ee if this Subaru AWD system is ready to handle this for sure hahha. hehe !! well it came in !! Drive Shaft Shop one piece aluminum prop shaft. man o man is this thing so light weight. so they told me its 4" inch shorter then a STi shaft. which means even more less weight & 4" inch shorter wheel base. so now just AWIC coolers on back order some time this week or next & weld up my exhaust + muffler + tip & my twin scroll dump tubes. then we start her up ! next week we drive it.

here we have the shifter mount, its a mix of 1986 sway bar bushing rubber and good old fashioned father steal bending and welding. ! lol its so simple but yet feels so right when shifting. then we had to fix the rear sway bar mount points, thanks to the great Canadian salt we use for our roads, it destroyed the tabs to hold my mounts. way it should look with a tab, but not a hole in the middle ! so once again my father came up with these, we made these tabs which is nice and thick to last 50years. once you weld them over paint and done. oem 86 XT6 20MM sway bar 1986 GL-10 Turbo Filter looks way better made then the new style. so we are pretty much done under the hood, add battery, couple water lines for cooler and done. that thing beside the brake master need to be in the car for my heater control's to work vac system. so i used a new style fuel filter holder and bolted it up and it works perfect nice and clean. and while i was board i cut out the spare cap i have for the Extra S gear oil i had, and stuck it on the top of the cap for the water cooler. as of now we are pretty much ready to start it up but !! tomorrow my drive shaft shop shaft will be in. then im just waiting on my water coolers for my intercoolers.
