    Thanks for the help. I feel sure I can come up with hoses for the ac. I was more concerned about getting the condenser in somewhere somehow. Sounds like it can be done. Anyone have any pics?

    Does anyone have any pictures of a swap with an ac installed. I am starting to get things ready for a swap but I would really like to keep my ac its been in the 100s for three weeks where I am at so ac is nice.

    I have a 87 gl and am working on getting all of the goodies together for a swap. Can anyone help me with what year models ej22 I should be looking for? I have found lots of information searching but not much on this. Any help or advice would be great

    Just got it picked up! My plans include 5" lift that will be here tomorrow and also in the plans of an ej swap. The car has 250k miles on it and seems to drive pretty good still. I have been reading about the swaps but if you have any advice on year models of motors or anything else to do with the swap I would appreciate it.

    I am picking up a GL wagon in a few days. It has 267000 miles and it is loosing a small amount of coolant. I am unsure if its a head gasket or something else, I will investigate it further next week. I am thinking I would like to do a ej22 swap and would like to see if anyone has any good info on the swap. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Scott

    I am a refrigeration technician and R12 is still available for purchase. Manufacturing of the refrigerant has been banned. It is a very expensive refrigerant due to all of the r12 is now being recycled. Let me know if I can be of any assistance to you Scott

    I am new to the forums and just wanted to introduce myself. Currently I have a 2010 forester and soon to pick up an 86 gl. Previously I had an 02 impreza and just am a subaru fan. Looking forward to getting my gl and starting some mods. Scott

    am interested in the lift you have listed for sale. I am new to subaru lifts. I will be picking up an 86 gl wagon in a week and would like to lift it. I will be driving on the road as much as off and would like it to drive good. I have had lots of straight axle trucks lifted and just dont know what to expect. I guess im looking for some advice and if this lift would work I would probably buy it if it can be shipped.

    I am looking at 2 outbacks and am not sure which one. The first one is a 96 with 150,000 miles 2.2l and a manual transmission. It is very clean and looks like it was cared for by someone, its for sale at a dealership. The 2nd one is a 99 with 105000 miles 2.5l and an auto transmission the current owner has had it for 6 months and just says he has to many cars. He says the car runs and drives great. Both cars are about 200 miles from me in different directions. I am just looking for some advice on the different years and what to look for when I check them out. Thanks Scott
