  1. If the sun is out I'm driving it... Torque grind cam, decked heads, ea82 pistons (higher compression) and a webber. No problem keeping up with traffic and cruise all day on the highway.
  2. My son and I took the BRAT to the Corvette Club Car Show on Memorial Day. One of two imports in the show (Karmen Ghia was the other) and it was entered in the truck category... fun little show.
  3. I recently purchased Gabriel brand in then US. Good fit and even had the height adjustment bolts.
  4. Very cool, good save, especially with working suspension and those sweet light sprayers... It is a nicely equipped GL-10. RX was both a trim and drivetrain package which this vehicle does not have. Enjoy the car, great find.
  5. Joined the local club for a coffee and cruise this morning... ...hit 300 miles, time for oil change and head torque.
  6. The inboard valves (two center) are exhaust, out board (front and rear of head) are intake.
  7. Glad to hear... Just did my shake down run this morning.
  8. Same thing happened to me. Back to basics1.) set engine to TDC, 2.) align dist gear and shaft and lower into position 3.) confirm rotor is pointing at #1 4.)recheck gaps, 5.) run plug wires. 6.) check coil is hooked up properly (if not replace burnt fuse). I'll send you a pic of vacuum lines but should just be vac advance and PCV (into filter) other lines are coolant.
  9. Would love a 1st gen wagon, was to slow on a '76 last year... Not many survivors up here.
  10. Took it on a 60 mile shake down run down the inlet today... beautiful day and dry roads... ran great.
  11. From this weekend... You guys should have seen this in motion...
  12. Looks very clean. I am really thinking that an XT6 needs to be my next project. Good Luck and enjoy.
  13. Sunny day with a decent camera...
  14. Got the Cyclops hooked up and installed chrome bar and skid plate... Dying to start driving but roads are still too nasty.
