  2. No... I didn't need to drop either, car handles great' no wierd noises.
  3. Had a the local NASIOC group party at my brothers house tonight. My nephew's car My brother's Raptor I actually have more clearlance than the Raptor at the rear diff!
  4. I was one of the original guys to do the manifold, tgv delete, vf39, sti tmic, and ACT flywheel and clutch (back when I did this we had no choices in Turbo upgrades). I added brembos, sti up pipe, catless down pipe and borla exhaust. I spun a rod bearing and did a full bulid (rods, pistons, oil pump etc) and added an 18g. Exterior was mild JDM... front bumper and waist spoiler, debadged and tinted tail lights. Short shift kit, group n tranny, motor and cross member mounts, firm linkage bushings, perrin rear sway, HR springs. ...yeah, my old subies are way cheaper to run.
  5. Here's what I got... I'll take some more detail pics this weekend. Yes, that's a trip computer.
  6. I got tired of effortless acceleration, rock solid handling... and spending way too much money on parts... so I had to go old school. I'm happy to give my input... I built this thing before parts weren't cheap and you couldn't find them used. When I sold it, I had built it from stem to stern including complete engine build.
  7. Thanks... I lost the spoiler on the way to work the other day in the dark. Oh well... I'm going to build one out of fiberglass this summer.

  11. Axels seem OK so far. I have a slight clunk from my rear right... I'll get that figured out this weekend. I love sitting at lights and having people stare at the car... trying to figure out what is going on with it.
  12. Thanks... I was telling AKGhandi that's what I was going for.
  13. Got the kit today... I will shoot them tomorrow, put it together Saturday morning and play in the afternoon. Thanks Bill, beautiful product.
  14. I don't have any info on how rare they are, but I can tell you a few things 1) they predate the RX, 2) the rear seat is a split fold down w/ an armrest 3) check out the matching seat belts... this tells me these are an original option.
  15. Camping before the Brat went into dry dock... Parked with the "other" RVs Last camping trip, Hope AK.
  16. That's a block heater....its been -5 or less every morning for the last 10 days and she stays outside. With a nice warm block and oil she starts right up every morning.
  17. Simple Green... I have 3 boys, I buy it by the gallon:brow:
  18. Picked up this 85' GL 4WD Turbo late last Winter. It had 105k on it and had been sitting since '95. This was to be my daily driver while the Brat is being restored... which is taking longer than I thought. A little rattle can work... Has the RX pattern interior... Akghandi hooked me up with front shocks off of a parts car, fog lights (to be added) and pugs with awesome tires, Jerry DeMoss set me up with a set of RX springs and I have a 2" Boss lift on order. EJ22 sitting in the garage, to be installed this summer... ONLY AFTER THE BRAT IS DONE!!!
  19. PM sent... can't wait to get it... hopefully will have it before we get some serious snow:headbang:
