I have been reading that cheap Honda civic coilovers work for lowering a EA81. Has anyone heard of this or done it?

Yeah I will have some photos up by tomorrow. The lowering wont be done for a couple weeks. Also I have been reading that you can use Honda civic coilovers, anyone done this?

you can get a small drop by running 2wd front struts and springs. There are no off the shelf "subaru springs" for the ea81 cars. I haven't had the parts in my hands in near 5 years. But when I did it on my hatch I used 4wd springs with 1.5 coils cut off on 2wd struts. Best to use an angle grinder so it won't generate as much heat and ruin the spring. If I could find the old spring dimensions post there is a possibility of a few options for springs that will work.
