  2. look for south windsor auto parts on there thats where i work and i KNOW we have legacy's and outback's and newer imps. good luck!
  3. Also the ej22 is slow as well.....lol if your gunna do the swap do it with something with a lil power if your gunna do it cuz its slow..... wrx swap ftw OR ej22t ftw (if you can find one)
  4. you should post the vehicle and its specs for anyone to make a determination.... sounds fun though! hehehehe
  5. its definitly there..... i have a 95 legacy wagon (same car with dif. trim) ive snooped to see if i have it.... theres actually 2 access holes to the gas tank n i believe its on the drivers side (the one your looking for) directly behind back seats under all the carpet.... i believe theres a lil cardboard like piece you have to pull off to see it.... hope this helps jarrid
  6. agreed LOL i want to soooo bad cuz i miss a 5spd. thats all ive owned until this subaru and a truck. but first id need a detailed parts list on what i need ( and whether i can buy certain things used and be fine or not) i know id need a 5mt (obviously) pedals, clutch plate, flywheel, clutch master and slave cylinder, some wiring has to be done, without getting a new center console id hafta get a short throw shifter, a matching rear diff, mt tranny crossmember, driveshaft for mt for a wagon. am i missing anything? (pretty sure i am) any places that have really good prices on certain things? thanks jarrid
  7. well ive already replaced this tailshaft housing gasket on my 4eat. (btw 95 leg wagon ej22) it lasts for like a week then starts leaking right on the cat. and smoking. im getting so sick of this. ive made sure everytime that the gasket surfaces were old gasket free and clean. nothing is marred. the first time i used the "make a gasket goo" and it worked for like a month. 2nd time was factory gasket as well as 3rd and 4th. im thinkn bout dealing with it leakin for a lil while and saving up to do a 5mt swap...... any thoughts? or suggestions? like i said im at my wits end! thanks guys! -jarrid
  8. ok cool if you do decide you want it just pm me (in case for some unknown reason they all dont work) (1 in a million chance lmao) but anyways good luck! -jarrid
  9. why is this guy having a link on every post that goes to a USELESS resistor that they call a performance chip? sorry to thread jack but this guy is irritating me with this....he's not a paying vendor. mods?????
  10. mine does the same thing and its a loose heatshield.....its rather annoying isnt it?
  11. i have an extra one off a 95 legacy wagon 2.2 if its the same you can have it.....you pay shipping n its yours
  12. i agree 100% but on a stock everything soob he doesnt REALLY need more than 8 awg. i am into car audio too lol i want to eventually wall off my soob with 4 15's ..... but anyways yes you are completely correct. -jarrid
  13. 95 legacy wagon awd 4eat best spring strut combo to get the most lift? and still keep reliability and what gas mileage i do have lol
  14. /\ those performance chips are junk and dont do anything.....its proven.
  15. well thats the thing....i have 14.3v on the back battery but only 13.6 @ highest on the front battery..... btw the battery boiled over once and i filled it the next day with bottled water n ran it.....didnt think it damaged it because it still charges the same and sits @ the same voltage and holds voltage when the car isnt running pretty well
  16. Subafreak's "Monster Wagon" Build thread: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=81629 is that a ct plate i see? where in ct is he? i would love to stop by and check out that lifted wagon! glad to see others in ct
  17. i would do the big 3.... it helps with charging and grounds. 1. connect 8 gauge wire from neg battery term. to body 2. connect 8 gauge wire from body to engine block (the closer to the alternator mount the better) 3. connect FUSED 8 gauge wire from alternator charging post straight to pos. battery. ( when i say fused i mean whatever your alt can put out in amps go like 5-10 amps fuse rating above that) you dont hafta run a fuse if you dont want to but i would.... (even though i dont) lmao edit: if you dont follow what im saying just google "the big 3"
  18. big tires on a truck with an auto kill it..... subarus trans would get destroyed....LOL i had a 1988 f150 lifted like 7 or 8 inchs with 36s on it an that tranny was dead in like 6 months.... 150k miles when i got it and everything was rebuilt. ha that truck was BADASS.... wish i lived closer and had a lift kit and 5 spd for my legacy :/ would be fun! i love wheelin! -jarrid
  19. it goes to the body and if its connected to the body already then the other end goes to the neg. side of the battery
  20. yes you would need a fuel pressure guage....but i believe you could "borrow" that from autozone for a small fee. i *think* its supposed to be around 40-45 psi but i could be wrong
  21. i was thinkn maybe 14.5 ? also mine doesnt drop slowly.....its instantaneous as soon as i turn on the accessory it drops.
