  1. Yeah, in my parts wagon I have a full trans with matching rear diff. So all id need is the adapter plate. I mean I want to have more of a full time all wheel drive instead of the fw/4wheel. (I'll just deal if I have too..). I do want to keep it pretty simple, but get the best option with cost.
  2. Okay I don't plan on doing burn outs but maybe a little show boating but with the 6 speed would I have to relocate the starter? (my main concern). Or maybe a wrx trans? This project might get pushed out and put on hold (money related) But what would be the ideal set up? And most logical one?
  3. OK, so i need some advice... i am struggling with the idea of using my extra 86 gl D/R trans... with a ej22t. I know the stuff i would need, but i am not sure if its a smart idea, like if theres way to much power and it would tear it apart, or if its possible to use a STI trans (6 speed), if i would need to do some modifications to get it to work? or if i just used a 5 speed manual trans outta a legacy etc... Please i need some adviceeee!
  4. Use the search button. (theres multiple threads about them) Heres one to get you started... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=131874
  5. use photo bucket and copy the url code (they show up full page)
  6. $170, and i don't know how much shipping for the engine would be, if you have a specific company ill get a quote from them.

  7. I really like the hood scoop, but the front air dam is ehhh... It doesn't fit the car...
  8. Oh well welcome back then! haa. At least you want to restore it and get it running! I personally am going to hopefully be putting a 2.2T in my 78. There are some other posts i think it was twin turbo put into a older brat. It is possible, I'm guessing or just make it work.
  9. It could simply be a vacuum leak from the turbo...?
  10. You could always do the EJ22T swap, and be able to put the D/R 5 speed trans in. Strong motor + a Turbo + D/r tranny could be a unbeatable set up!
  11. I have found 2 sets of 4. Of these wheels in co. They are asking 100-130. And the wheels are Chevy wheels as well as trailer wheels. (the width might be slightly different tho)
  12. Put this on today, it isn't fitting quite right, right now...
  13. I would say the 2nd one, they have a "find retail store" button. And their store is in cali. so i personally would say 2nd
  14. So i had a question, what other models will work for swapping drivers, and passenger door Glass?
  15. That's how they are supposed to work, same as on my gl10. They air Down every time you shut off the car, and then raise back up as you turn it on.

  17. Congrats on Both!!! Love how you made the mini brat match!
  18. That's not completely true. Might depend on your Subaru dealership, mines gone back as far as 84 since that's the oldest I've tried to get(I might try to see if they can get my 78 brat key).
  19. +1 I was thinking about that, then the shops have no say in if they were re drilled or not. and it would look clean!
  20. Maybe contact your subaru dealership and they might be able to mail it to you?
  21. Yep going to the dealer with your Vin, and you shouldn't have any problems.
  22. Yes i think so, my dad was driving a Non subaru so he wouldn't speed up to get better pics
