I have a 97 Legacy Outback. I swapped in a 2.2 that was supposed to be out of a 98 Legacy, come to find it its from an Impreza. There were no hook ups for the carbon canister on the 2.2 and I had to change the Y pipe. Other than that it dropped right in and started right up. It runs good, but bogs bad at low Rpm and has trouble on the highway. The check engine light has been on since the install, and it runs fine when cold. I have already ruled out the catalytic convertor. The 2.5 ran great before the rod knock. Any help would be appriciated.
