I pulled the pan this weekend (on the 85 mpfi). There were no filings or metal bits in the oil. Are you still interested in doing the reseal? I could have the wagon at your place Sat. morning. Let me know. I'm at rweninge@co.tillamook.or.us

Rick, thank you for the reply. I'll pull the pan and check out the contents. I don't really have the means to pull the heads. That would be great if you could work on it. I could 'assist' if you want. I'll be in touch Monday to let you know the results.

Hello Elite Master of the Subaru !

I posted the 85 mpfi head gasket problem today. I also read alot of the cracked head documentation... and decided to ask you what you thought.

What do you think? Should I fix the head gasket, or part the car out? Is there anyone out there looking for 3at with only 86k on it?

Or what would you charge to do the HG's? I'm in Tillamook and would tow it to Port.
