  1. http://www.subarugenuineparts.com OEM Subaru parts.... 1/3 of the retail price most brake pad kits are $60 and they're oem rotors? $50-60 each questions? let me know. that's my day job Jamie
  2. rear wheel bearings do seem to wear out although i have never gone through any.... you can order them on line fairly cheaply Subaru Genuine Parts: http://www.subarugenuineparts.com specifically: https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/oe_parts_cat.html part numbers: bearing part # 28016AA030 and you will need 3 seals for the bearing these should be right: #28015AA110 #28015AA100 # 28015AA050 hard part is getting the bearing in/out of the car they have to be pressed in/out so you will have to pay someone to do that type of work unless you have a press of your own hope this helps a little bit Jamie
  3. if your TPS has only 9 mos use, and is causing the issue again it's under parts warranty and should be covered by the dealership i belive all technical bulletins can be accessed at: http://techinfo.subaru.com good luck to you Jamie

  6. GTB is twin turbo right? nobody stateside has a car remotely similar. you may be best off asking some of those who share your model type http://www.scoobynet.co.uk i know a few guys there have GTB's and can probably sort you out quick. good luck Jamie

  8. hard to believe those stats etc... i have an 01 RS with over 100K on it and no major issues none. went through an 02 sensor and um... that's about it. *shrug* i now own 5 subaru's and wouldnt give any of them up for a domestic Jamie
  9. your dealer is full of it. i work for subaru, in parts. there is a key code associated with every key code can be found by a subaru parts pro by using your vin this code is used to obtain your cutting sequence. if they cut a key that does not start your car you need to make them RECUT the key again they give you a hard time? ask for a manager. this is crap. if you're ever in Bellevue, WA come see me and i'll sort you out. Jamie www.subiegal.com
  10. you should have the car properly diagnosed but my best guess is that you need a new combination switch this is inside of the steering column housing the one with the turn signal/wiper arms on it i had a similar issue - burning and all on my 99 leggie GT and indeed, the issue was the combo switch but please, get the car diagnosed before spending money on a part like this. Jamie
  11. why now buy a new rad. core support? isnt that the safe way to go? what car are we talking about here? they are not as expensive as you may think.... Jamie
  12. right.... no OTHER car manufacturer has any kind of 'recalls' or issues right? every other car manufacturer is perfect... what a joke! ahahaa Subaru is one of the highest ranked in realibity and dependability. IMHO thisB9 is very nice. and will sell very well. it's not meant for the current subaru owner. but there is an entirely new market of subaru owners about to enter our realm this car in it's class is a good $10-15k less than it's competitors i'd say subaru's probably hit a homerun with this one but time will tell.
  13. http://www.takakaira.com/aerokits/aerokitindex.asp not cheap but unique and made for the car Jamie
  14. many do water pump as preventitive maint. also oil pump/seal/oring try using an on line oem vendor for huge discounts on parts check OEM our site here: https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/oe_parts_cat.html (my day job) have questions, just let me know good luck! Jamie

LOCALS.... if you get the chance, you should come and see em before they're gone. I do believe these all may be pre-sold... so hurry. cupholder/center console - pretty slick gauges.... lights... car is different for Subaru. but i dont think they're going to have a problem selling them shout with questions. Jamie www.subiegal.com
  16. replace em http://www.nasioc.com i've seen loads of used ones in the classifieds for next to nothing. i have a stuck caliper right now on my 01 RS i'll get it replaced in a bit... got the rotors... figured i'd do a conversion while i was at it... Jamie
