  2. pm'd you just in case, bookmark: http://www.nwr-scca.org and http://www.oregonrally.com cheers! Jamie
  3. try Ebay.com for the KYB/AGX's for the Impreza like $80-90 each and excellent struts! ($370-something for the set of 4) however, not sure the "sti" springs are a nice compliment for them. Those springs are meant for 04/05 models and 04/05 rear strut tops. you'd be better off with $200 SPT Eibach springs from Subaru see: https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/product_info.php?products_id=642 shout with questions okay? Jamie
  4. my 2001 does not auto lock my 2003 does not auto lock i'm not sure if the 05/06's do or not.... i lock my doors every time i get in the car though. it's just a push of the button Jamie
  5. if your cat goes bad, you really 'should' replace it it's not something you should ignore. how many miles are on your forester? cats are covered to 80,000 miles under the emissions warranty... if you are no longer under warranty, you can replace the cat yourself just buy the part from an online source and install it. see this catalog: https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/oe_parts_cat.html when you drill down to it, the Cat itself is $524.16 + shipping that will save you $300 or so if you install it yourself (and it's not too hard to do) Jamie
  6. do a hydracarbon test before you waste anymore time or money best to know for sure before you toss more $ at it... Jamie
  7. sure. contact your friendly subaru parts person and they can run the part number off of the ecu for you erm.... yeah i'll try to remember to do that on Monday... Jamie
  8. yep just replaced my rad cap and thermo and thermo gasket with my last coolant flush not a bad idea as the seals on the caps can go sour after a while Jamie
  9. OE style rubber/urethane bushings are included with those bars trust me one wagoneer to another, the 20mm is very nice. Jamie
  10. we didnt roll... we flipped. something caught the rear end and tossed us up into the air upside down... we came crashing down on the lid. photos and full story here: http://www.subiegal.com/images/rallies/oregonrally05/oregon_rally05.htm i am a very careful driver, i've never done anything like this to my car and i'm still trying to figure out what got us? i never saw anything... upon inspection, the rear is solid, nothing broken. very strange rally accident. but, we'll be back rebuild is well under way! next race is in Olympia - first weekend of June! see you guys on stage Jamie
  11. >>>Look here *click**<<< OE 17, 20, or 21mm bars.. cheap too contact me with questions - as i work there Personally i'd recommmend the 20mm your front bar is a 19mm.... 20 would create some nice, neutral handling. Hope this helps. Jamie
  12. put a turbo kit on the 2.5NA and the shortblock will melt i have NEVER seen a turbo kit fitted to a 2.5NA that lasted long. sure... maybe 1... maybe 2 years.... then when you are left out the $2k you spent for the kit and stuck on the side of the road with no ride?? it's not worth it. if you want to turbo, do an engine swap that's really the only reliable way to get it done plan on $6-7k to do it right the 2.5NA block just cannot take the power and strain of a turbo kit. Jamie
  13. we'll deliver to you. http://www.subarugenuineparts.com need something you dont see on the site? contact me.... happy to help!! cheers, Jamie

  16. Partially sponsored by SUBARU West (www.subaruwest.com) In conjunction with CSCC - http://www.chuckanutscc.org Flyer: http://www.chuckanutscc.org/Flapdoodle.pdf Information: http://www.chuckanutscc.org/AddInfo.pdf guys... if you have never been to a Subaru sponsored event... GO TO THIS ONE typically they have tons of goodies and suprises for attendees also... this event required 3 cans of food per car as they are using this event to assist local food shelters/charities This should be a blast I can try to field questions....
