  1. does your wagon have fender/wheel well liners? its possible you just bent the inner plastic liner back against the hub/body of the car and you're now hearing it hit on wheel/tire/etc when in motion this would happen if you went through the water too fast, those liners will tear pretty easily Jamie
  2. what kind of shape are your exhaust HANGERS in? are they stretched? thus causing the exhaust to hang lower than it should? Jamie
  3. huh? my 2.5 has 90k and is just fine depends on the model model year if you are at risk. but no way would i just assume my hg's are going to go and put 3k into a turbo/engine conversion

  6. had the exact same symptoms on my Phase I and it was bad HG's... i did what you're doing... (thermo, radiator, hoses replaced...) and ended up needing a new block as well as i drove it too long with the issue and the block cracked from heat damage do yourself a favor face the music and fix it now before it gets much much worse (if it's not too late) Jamie
  7. www.rockblocker.com or www.stongard.com i have stongard on all of my subaru's on the lights as well as the paint stuff... works.... great!!! after spending $100 per fog light lense... and after breaking 2 of them... installed the stongard for $24.95 and never looked back 3 years later, still working, still clear, no yellow, no fading. hope this helps Jamie
  8. it's defo a cat or 02 sensor really, the only way to know for sure is to go to subaru have them put the car on the select monitor and diagnose exactly what the issue is....
  9. both of my imprezas are on Redline HeavyDuty Shockproof, front/rear. those of you in colder climates should probably stick to the 75W/90 Redline rules. i buy mine from: www.summitracing.com cheers jamie
  10. misfire codes are tough to diagnose. plugs, wires, ecu? coil pack? injectors? could be a handfull of things... if you dont want to try to sort it yourself, get it to a pro to help you diagnose. Jamie
  11. sounds like a bad slave and/or master cylinder worn slave cylinder - when warm can act up and make the clutch pedal go soft... aka go to the floor it's best to swap slave and master at the same time they usually crap out together. slave cylinders rarely go bad? i beg the differ we have a shelf full of them - reason? they are a wear item, and wear out hope this helps. Jamie
