thanks so much! oh I did not know that about Canada? that's interesting! We did get these 2-stroke 360's here in the States from 1968-1970 They are getting to be hard to find in decent condition. I'm super lucky to have found Stanley! -

this is what i use, page has instructions on how to use it http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/11153.do You do not need to rub hard/apply pressure the clay removes all the crud from your paint leaving is super SUPER smooth you must wax after claying... must must must it's very impressive how well this stuff works!

when this happened on my 01 it required a sleeve kit to fix not a clutch fork not a throw out bearing. Just relaying my personal experience i had a chirping/chattering when the clutch was not depressed. replaced tobearing. noise remained replaced tobearing again noise remained this is what solved it: http://www.smart-service.com/store-tranquil-sleeve-kit.html

I've bent a hub or 2 before. NO visible signs of damage, other than the camber was screwed, and the wheel/tire was rubbing on the strut. Swapped in a new hub - aligned - and all was well again. Note for the front damage Check the control arm and inner tie rod end. 99.999% of the time with side impacts, these 2 items are toasted. jamie

Flywheel
Subie Gal replied to Arty's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
well... who do you think I took the flywheel to. duh.... A reputable machine shop And they ended up paying for my new flywheel due to their mistake. Again.... I can only speak from experience and my experiences with resurfacing have not gone well at all. Never. Again. -
Flywheel

100% agree and I'll tell you why :-\ Once upon a time I had a flywheel resurfaced. It was off spec by less then 2mm... which caused of course - everything to go out of balance Meaning. Tore car apart - Installed clutch, put car back together Started car, entire car shaking like crazy Tear car apart again, to uninstall flywheel Go buy a new flywheel and reinstall <---which is what I should have done in the first place To me? Not ever worth the risk. I learned my lesson. -
I have changed my oil every 3 months like clockwork since mile #8 on my 166k mile 2001 RS. Fluids need to be changed - especially if the car sits for extended periods of time and is not driven. Cars do not like to sit. Fluids tend to break down when this happens - as was previously stated. That's one thing I could not compromise on. Your wife is right on this one, sorry!

Less hand movement, more weight distribution. I have very busy hands. I did tidy them up quite a bit by days end. I also realized I am much less of a left-foot-braking driver - and much more of a trail braking monster There is for sure a difference in application and method. (yes, they teach LF braking, even to a complete novice) And somehow, in the middle of all of this, I ended up being in the local news. hahahaaa... how lucky is that?
