  5. Tirerack.com has a nice guide http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=147 pressures will depend a lot on what kind of tires you have installed I run high performance - ultra performance tires and I run at 40psi all the way around.... best to read the guidelines, research a little bit then experiment Jamie

  9. subaru states this coolant is to be used in the new models only I would not recommend this coolant for older models as the components are not as advance. Not saying it's going to cause damage, but I would not trust it for 100k miles in my 2001.... Jamie
  10. Yes you need to get a clutch which matches your drivetrain. 1.8-2.2's of the same model year and trim (AWD) are going to be compatible. Jamie
  11. if you are continually having the "squeak" tob chirp issue it is likely your transmission case snout needs to be resleeved. TOB will no longer sit the way it was intended and when the clutch is out it will vibrate, causing the squeal - chirp. see: http://www.smart-service.com/content-tranquil-sleeve-kit.shtml Jamie
  12. 1) I dont need a rear diff at all. I need to repair my plated JDM 5 speed STi front diff 2) DMS are for sale here: http://www.dirtyimpreza.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5016 Jamie
  13. my car was overheating from SS1.... cat. converter broke up in the exhaust choking the system also had no clutch, slave cyl. went and pedal went to the floor I was lucky to make it to the finish... trust me. I will not go to Pomeroy... ever. NO idea when I will be back out. Oregon is my favorite event and it was good to see everyone! But now I have a blown diff, blown tranny and am selling my suspension..... anyone want some DMS????
  14. regional results are hidden on the "old site" gearbox: change the oil often and i try not to jamb the gears..... eventually though it will break, rally is stressful on the oe gearbox delay on sunday: the ROAD + a lost radio contact "00" car rolled on the course opening run Co-driver needed stitches but everyone was ok then radio contact was lost with "finish" so we had to stop the rally for a while Once the stage opened, about 6-8 of the stage rally cars crashed or rolled. (including Block, Foust, Lablanc, and more....) Nasty section or road.... Note that on the 2nd running of this stage at least 4 more rolled/crashed ...that was one tough stage! I dont care to ever see it again. I did not like it at all.... Jamie
  15. all photos here: http://www.subiegal.com/gallerymain/rallygallery/oregonrally2008/2008oregon_rally.htm full story: http://www.subiegal.com/rallyteamnews/pressrelease/2008/oregon-trail-rally-2008.htm couldn't have done it without my Navigator Rob and my awesome, AWESOME crew.... any questions? ask away! I am still drained from the event and trying to recover... takes a lot out of you 8-) but boy it was good to get back out there! Jamie

  17. 1993-1999 use the same front door panel/shell sedan, wagon = same Jamie
  18. check the inner/outer tie rod ends and the steering column u joint often these differ on different models..... Jamie
  19. they should be a direct swap.... 4 bolts each seat  Jamie
  20. doesnt matter what size spacer you use, it will cause issues with your wheel bearings so just brace yourself if you go that route. you think buying the right wheels or tires is pricey wait until you're changing a wheel bearing every few months :-\ from your photo, looks like the wheel offset is all wrong and that in itself will cause problems down the road. Jamie
  21. if you must resort to new, my day job can help. http://www.subarugenuineparts.com try the oem catalog. if you get stuck and cant find the parts , pm me for help have you exhausted all used sources? http://www.fandsauto.com http://www.halspartsandservice.com Jamie
