This seems weird, I have a 99 forester s auto, and the other day on a road trip the check engine light came on, which i have never had happen. But, everything seemed fine so i kept going, i dident really have a choice. We went about 500 miles more and the light went out on the road, so i thought great maybe just a loose gap cap and its over. Well the next day when i went our to warm up the car it came on. I was out running arrons that day but it stayed on all day, the next morning i came out again turned it on and the light was off. The road trip was thursday night, and this on and off thing has been going on since. But i have had the car up to about 75 and its not rough at all, everything seems to be in working order. Please help i have to go back to mexico and i cant get parts there! Ben

Does anyone know someone or do any of you sell detailed plans or blueprints for a body lift for a 99 forester, and also a scorpion style steel front bumper but i really want a winch mount on the bumper if possible. I live in Mexico and i cant really get parts but my best friend here runs his own shop and has all the materials, i just need the plans. Thanks Everybody, Ben

I got my new springs but i was thinking is there anything else i have to replace like shocks or some bolt or anything? I live in Mexico and am going to texas to get my springs so i need to know if there is anything else i need while i am there. If i need shocks, what kind, what size, model numbers maybe?? Thanks, Ben

I Have a 99 Forester S and i right now am running the Bridgestone Turanza LST's. I have to say these tires do quite well. I have about 20k on them and they look brand new. I wanted some all terrains but they do not come in the 215/60/16 size i have to run. I live in Mexico and i put alot of highway miles on them and a bit of offroading and i can keep up with my brothers xj jeep. I had a question....Why do none of the scorpion or any other steel bumpers have the foglights built in. I have the foglights and i want one of those bumpers sooooo where do i put them???? has anybody ever wired them to the rear bumper as reverse lights? Just an idea. Thanks, Ben

What is best? body lift, skid plates, bumpers, LSD??? I live in Mexico right now in the mountians so its all dirt and rock basicly. Thanks Everyone, Ben

So it wont all burn up if i try to run 29s on what i got just with a body lift? I was told by other people on here all the clutchs in the tranny would burn up if i went up a hill? I need the truth. Ohh and chef tim how does the EA to EJ tranny adaptor work? Thanks Everybody, Ben

I am trying to think of ways to get larger tires not huge but larger, without a body lift i just got my 2 in. susp. lift as some of you know, so there should be some clearance, SO here is the question, CAN I buy some 15 steel wheels with a HUGE backspacing on them so that the tire doesent sit under the strut????????? is this possible, and also as a side note what is the backspacing on these wheels and what would i need?? I have so many questions, its a wonder why im always on here. ha and ahh....what could the banana possibly be good for?? Ben

i think i need to clarify i was told i would need a divorced t-case to turn the 29" wheels not to lift the car, is this really needed? Also if i need one, where do i get one, what kind?????
