  1. If you have any of those left in a large ill take one .
  2. Thanks for moving this, i appreciate it . Also thank you everyone for your condolences. It definitely is tough losing someone suddenly but thats just the way life is sometimes ....
  3. If anyone wants this car it's your for free ! I need to be out of my house by the end of the month and I can't take this thing with . The hood and roof are dented , no grill or turn signals mostly everything's busted . Only salvageable thing is probably the motor which has a blown HG but it still runs and drives. I took it back to the woods rallied the piss out of it creased the oil pan til it was pukin oil and the y pipe also got flattened lol I have another exhaust for it though . Drained oil and welded the pan . Put new oil and filter on still runs !! No title or registration, no tabs since 06 and it starts with any key . Come tow this thing away or I'm gonna take it out to the woods and rally it again and leave it ..
  4. Yeah thats him, he had the cream colored wagon that went to tahuya with us. And i adopted his dog from him . ive been trying to stay as strong as possible, **its rough. Ive had too many close people pass away in my short 18 years of life ..... thanks man
  5. Thank you all for the Condolences and support i really appreciate it a lot ! He was definitely a hero in a lot of peoples books. And I have been doing a wee bit o' drinking for memories and good times. Not to drink my sorrows away lol And thanks Jeff i really appreciate it i have yours and Joshs number . We definitely need to go wheeling sometime, maybe after you get better and what not . I dont wish death upon anybody but i sure wish that ***hole could get the chair as well, he got charged with 2nd degree murder but i have no idea how long he'll be in there. Im guessing at least 25 years ? The thing that makes me upset the most is that the girl that was in the fight with her Boyfriend, is the cousin of the guy who stabbed my buddy . Why stab some random person trying to help and not the guy whos beating up your cousin !?!? I guess the guy who got caught claimed he was high on drugs and had been drinking so he probably had no idea what he was doing and just jumped in the mix knowing he was going to stab someone ..... Also there is a BECU account that anyone can go and drop money off into if you would like to donate, anything helps and is much appreciated. On sunday we had a carwash to raise money and we made a little over 4,000 dollars !! Which is going to cover most of his funeral costs and give him a proper burial so us family and friends have a place to go see him at . Heres the account info: Any other donations anyone would like to make are welcome and can be sent to the Roger W. Roberts Benevolence Fund at BECU, the account number is 3590784994. Thank you all very much !
  6. Not very many of you knew him personally on this forum and he wasnt a very active member but i wanted to give a shout out anyways since he was a soob owner . My best friend/ big brother was stabbed to death trying to break up a fight between a guy and a girl that he did not know at all. They were just the neighbors across the street. He was an awesome guy, willing to help anyone out at anytime that he could, If my car broke down an hour away he was right on it and would drop everything he was doing to come rescue me. He was so open hearted and had nothing bad to say about anyone at all . He was always down to go do whatever and find an adventure . He'd try an take care of our friends as much as he could whether it be buying everyone food for the day and throwing a BBQ or giving you a ride to work, no charge . He was a hero, a brother and a friend. He would've been 24 this year, and it kills me that he's gone so quick because he had a heart condition already and had been in the hospital numerous times before and has had 15 small heart attacks. He had just gotten out of the hospital about 2 months ago from another case where he was having some heart problems, and he was doing soo good and being healthy and it just ****ing sucks that he had to go out this way ..... I love you man Rest In Paradise, Tell Dwight and Robert i say Hi . Here's his rig, we just got done putting a 6" lift and those 235s on it maybe a month ago .. Our mudhole at this wheeling spot by his brothers house, that thing ate both our rigs and we had to pull each other out haha. This is with One Eyes 2" lift
  7. I had plans to make this trip since Evans Creek is only 30 min from my place but unfortunately my wheeling buddy Roger, Tobias is his username on here, passed away this weekend trying to break up a fight between a couple . So idk if im gonna make it out or not, I dont wanna be a sad panda moping around in the trails lol cause i know he'd be right behind me this whole trip ! If i do decide to come out it would probably be just for the day, not sure yet . But i hope whoever does go out there has fun and gets lots of pics !
  8. That sounds good man just shoot me a text whenever . Im down to throw on a 2" lift for someone !
  9. Yeah we've got both of the lifts still, minus 2 of the straight blocks . We used em for the plate under the shift levers so that they'd sit up in the cabin ....
  10. Well did you go an flip the carrier bearing upside down to see if that was the problem ? I have a 6" on mine so idk how your driveline angle is . for bleeding the brakes your supposed to start on the tire farthest from the master cylinder, which would be your pass. rear. then driver rear. pass. front then driver front . make sure you dont run the master out of fluid while bleeding or youll just be putting more air into the system .
  11. If it sounds like the driveline is binding up when your in 4wd but it goes away when in 2wd, try unbolting your carrier bearing in the center and flip it 180 then bolt it back up, it should level out the drive line . I just had a similar problem like that after i lifted my wagon How big is your lift ?
  12. Just went up there yesterday with Rogers wagon, a trooper and a Cherokee . It was raining but still had fun . They changed the entrance to the 311.... Get better soon Jeff ! Still haven't been out wheeling with you guys yet !
  13. Does anybodys subaru dealer carry oem subaru cv boots ? I still have my oem axles in the rear of my 88 gl wagon and one of the boots is torn on the axles and i wanna do my first re-boot of an axle but i called my subaru dealership and the guy said that they dont even carry em anymore, and that they dont even do remands of axles for cars that old ? Which seems lame to me lol Or what would be the next best choice for a reboot ? I know the aftermarket axles are all crud and have been discussed many times before .
  14. This is the drivers side mirror and where the mount broke off. The mount piece isnt plastic so maybe it could be welded back together ? Idk up to you .
  15. You know I didn't notice that until you mentioned it lol Im not sure if just the older Gl's have em or what . I know my 88 gl has the windows mounted up farther by the window . I do have the drivers mirror and the parts not sure if it's broken or not I'll have to look . And yeah you can have the brackets before I get rid of it . I already ditched the whole ac system on my car and swapped the brackets
  16. Yeah I'm pretty bummed that it got abused as well . Im the same way I already have some attachment to the thing cause it's a free Subaru but I know it's gonna end up in the crusher soon :/ And yeah no problem man . Haha yeah I took the grill off last night when I got home
  17. LOL yeah i was definitely given this car and no no money in the trunk sadly :/ haha the gas lever thing does work for the trunk though ! And yea i think im gonna keep the honeycomb grill and thats it i really dont need anything off of it . So if anyone needs anything let me know, motor has 230xxx with a blown HG has milky coolant but is definitely rebuildable and it still gets up and goes ! My buddy said he wants the motor but idk when he'll have the money so pretty much anything on this car is up for grabs, even though its not in the best shape haha Heres some more pics : Rust in rear quarter, can see ground from trunk And I75eya this is probably the worst hubcap, it was on the tire that popped and i believe they were rallying around when the tire popped cause its got big rips/holes in like 4 places Its got some dents here an there, I have the rear bumper but i think the frame is bent. the guy said he got pit manuvered and thats how the bumper got messed up ... front bumper is good, turn signal lenses are in good shape . The 3 tires that are left are in pretty good shape still, have good tread. theyre 175/70/13s m+s rated . Some off brand tires ive never heard of, They say MERIT METRIC SE-H on em .
  18. OH ! and i forgot to mention it came with these sweet a** rims and tires in the back seat he said i could have lol theyre not even for a subaru, but im gonna throw em on CL and see if i can get some $$ for em
  19. Haha that would be so funny if he gave me a call this morning ! Yes its carbed, runs pretty decent but it dies on me sometimes if i dont keep giving it gas so its probably got some vac lines unhooked somewhere. Im keeping the grill and putting in on my 88 cause i like the honeycomb style but the hub caps are yours if you want em, for a small fee I just have to find a way into the trunk cause thats where the other tire is, its got a donut on it right now. And i have no keys to get into the trunk haha
  20. Don't have any plans to come up soon, but if you guys wanna go wheeling I wouldn't see it being a problem Rogers got some crazy high idling problems . I think he's got some vacuum leaks somewhere but it just doesn't want to idle down sometimes, it jumps up to like 3-4 grand . So we'll probably figure that out before we go wheeling next ...
  21. Definitely a great deal ! Its been sitting for a year or so so there's spider webs underneath the hood around the motor and the interior is pretty shot, seats are kinda green and mossy. Huge hole in the back seat some rips here an there. Rear quarters pretty rusted out underneath, no muffler and some holes in the exhaust . The guy just wanted it gone pretty much, didnt care if he got anything for it lol he didn't have a license and never got the title from whoever he got it from . He was also when I got there ....
  22. It's an 86 gl 2wd 5sp sedan. 230xxx on the clock with a blown HG but still runs and drives fine . I got on Craigslist earlier tonight out of boredom and this was the first thing I saw and called the guy right away Lol . Had a buddy drive down to Olympia with me and we got there checked it out, topped off the oil coolant and brake fluid. Put ten bucks in the tank and drove home it doesn't have a title and hasn't been tabbed since 06 no turn signals either . I don't know what my plans are with it yet, I just had to snag it cause it was free ! I'm probably gonna rally it and then scrap it somehow. Or try and part it out, if there's enough interest. I don't really want to put any money into it since I've already got 2 cars I dump money into lol anyways I'm gonna wash it up and get more pics tomorrow.
  23. yeah i was thinking that too, that it wont hold up when we go on some of the harder wheeling trips but it works for playing around some of the spots around my place ! And its better than nothing there. Ill probably have him make me something out of thicker material, and yeah i agree on something to cover up the heads of the bolts so i can take them off if i need to. And i used 5 1" long self tapping screws with bushing/washers on em and drilled em into the frame right there. They seem to be holding up fine so far, but again havent done much serious wheeling . I also just got done lifting rogers wagon ! He scored a 6" sjr kit and some 235s on pugs with the lug nuts for 300 bucks and he gave the guy his old set of stock 13s so the guy could scrap his car !! Kinda jealous on the deal he got lol And i scored some 29" swampers from a buddy of mine for 80 bucks 2 of em have a little less tread than the other two but thats ok. They dont measure out to 29" though, they were more like 27s ....
