  1. Started the parts swap with the donor wagon. I originaly bought it for the engine with half the miles as mine. I now have a working rear wiper and a slightly dented fender (as opposed to the fender with huge rust holes.) Can't wait to get the engine in without TOD. I have been driving it for two years ticking but it is time for improvements. I can then address the ticking engine when time and money aren't so rare.
  2. I work with 20 some technicians and have since 1989 and I have never seen anyone rebuild. Put the new or rebuilt in and move on possibly with a warranty to boot.
  3. I will measure them. They have a rather large hole to fit the trapped rotor style hub on the Colorado. The center hiole is 3 and 7/8".
  4. I found some Chevy Colorado 2WD wheels. 15 x 6 and offset to inside. They fit right up to the larger truck six hole hubs. I am still trying to talk the sales manager out of them for a decent price since I am not sure if they will work. I will keep you posted.
  5. How far off is the speedo with the larger tires? You have me dreaming of the same look for my Loyale.
  6. I Agree. The same thing happens if you start engine without the alt. belt or it fell off as in my bad experience.
  7. Thanks, I don't have a sunroof. looks like a good spot for some survival tools.
  8. Today I was cleaning out the PO's junk from my "new" 92 Loyale and came across something unfamiliar. A pouch buttoned on carpet on the vertical edge just below the right side rear seat. It contains an allen wrench. What is it for?
  9. I found the site at http://www.sosfab.com They are 15's but I can't find pic from my phone. $400.
  10. My 92 has paint code 222 and it is Dark Grey Metallic. It looks black from afar and in the sunlight up close it has much more of the metallic dark grey look. My avatar is of my 94.
  11. I got lucky with this one. My 94 is developing many a hole. I believe an older women had it and drove it carefully until the white-tail slammed the drivers side and then it got parked. Found out today a new windshield will cost about as much as car and that is minus the trim. It is $90 more from this glass shop. I'll shop around some and possibly try to salvage the good glass from the 94.
  12. Hello, my name is David. I have been driving a 1994 Loyale that my brother sold me for $200. It is amazing. With stock heighth and street tires it will blast through 18 inches of snow without problems. Not long ago I accidently drove it 10 miles without knowing the oil had all spewed out front crank seal due to a defective oil pressure light switch. If the ticking lifters were not bad enough, now it has a deep thumping noise on the lower rpms. Well today I picked up a 92 with only 100k and way better body for $200. I am stoked and can't wait to consolidate all of the best parts from both into one and with the help of this board hope to enjoy it for years to come.
