  1. Hi! In a few weeks I am getting my 07 Impreza 1.5R S.W. and there is one question I want to ask you all. It would be great if someone who ownes a 2006/2007 Impreza Sports Wagon takes a few pics of the side marker lights in the front and in the rear. Here in europe we don´t have side markers, so I do not have the chance to see how it looks on your USDM Impreza. So please take pics of the front and rear side markers and show them here. Something like that, but only a bit closer and front and rear: Thank you very much! Lukas
  2. That car is a real classic! Be sure you are not selling it to someone who´s gonna drive it off road or such stuff. This Brat has to stay original. L
  3. Congrats Connie! Show us some more pics of that sweety. I think its gonna be a nice couple. Lukas
  4. There was a bodykit available in austria, and it came with 13" rims. There were even 14" rims available, but only on special order for the 1,2 Super Justy. The 1.0 Junior Justy had 12" and 13" as an option. Lukas
  5. Welcome! And don´t forget: Show us pics! L
  6. Hi! Can you explain this to me please? Why are Subie fanatics leaving Subaru in droves? Are the new Subies not as good as the old ones were? Thanks. Lukas
  7. I don´t know what car you are driving, but thats just not true!! They are no race cars, but they can easily keep up with traffic and they are comfortable and smooth. Keep in mind that not everyone wants a STI!!! Lukas
  8. I think not only Subaru forgot this, even most subaru freaks forgot that. You only have to look at a few posts in this thread and you know what I mean. Lukas
  9. Yes, like the 2.0R. @ Numbchux: You are understanding me! I bought it as a daily driver, because I need AWD in winter (we have lots of snow and ice from november untill march) and I want a reliable car. I don´t want a street legal rally car like the STI, I only want a daily driver. And the 1.5R will be perfect (knock on wood)... I bought the wagon with manual transmission and dual range. It will be here in december. And yes, its gonna be the best christmas of my life... Lukas
  10. Thats just not true! Have you driven the 1.5? I bet not. The 1.5 runs a lot better than the 1.6, its a big difference. Even at lower revs the 1.6 can´t keep up, and at high revs the 1.5 will just not stop to idle. It revs up to 7k rpm with ease. Lukas
  11. thats exactly what I wanted to say! there are so many cars on the road, that have less power and an auto tranny. They are more slow, but nobody complains. Lukas
  12. Hi! You guys are quite ignorant. How can you say it’s gutless if you have not driven it by now? In Europe it’s quite necessary for Subaru to have an engine with ~100Hp in its range. Like I said, don’t make the mistake and compare it to the WRX or STI. Around here, nearly every subie dealer is happy to get the new 1,5R, because it’s going to be the new top seller around here. The 2,0R with 160Hp was quite expensive when it comes to taxes. Do you guys know the Impreza 1,6L and the Impreza 1,6TS? This engine had 95Hp and was the top seller around here and nobody complained it’s gutless. If someone wants an Impreza with a lot of power, go get an STI. Lukas
  13. It depends on where you are driving. Around here, there are many hills and and the roads are quite curvy. The 7,9 litres is the mixed fuel consumption für city driving, country roads and Autobahn. For example, my dads Outback 2,5i MT DR needs 9 litres on 100km. Lukas
  14. Subaru Austria says, the car needs 7,9 litres on 100km. And it´s not gutloess, its just not a WRX. Lukas
  15. Hi! I am back to subaru. I ordered an Impreza 1.5R Sports Wagon 5Spd MT with Dual Range. It will be here in december. I had the chance to take 2 testdrives (nearly 20 miles) and I am impressed. This little engine is a lot stronger than the old Impreza 1.6TS we got here. In combination with the dual range transmission, this little engine pulls strong and is quite fast enough. You must not make the mistake and compare the 1.5R to the WRX or STI. Of course its lame if you compare it to them, but the 1.5R is not a sports car, its more like the old Leones oder Loyales. Its a utility car. Its cheap to run, its practical, it gets you everywhere you want to go and it has character. I´m looking forward getting my 1.5R in december, it will be urban grey. Lukas
  16. Congrats! Its always good to have sutch friends. I hope Bucky will do many more miles now. But keep an eye on the rust. Lukas, the guy from europe
  17. Does someone have pictures of this Loyale RS? I habe never seen such a car in my live. Lukas
  18. Hi! Like someone said, our european Leone had those washers. Look (its a 89 Hunter Edition): Lukas
  19. The XTs in europe had 136 hp without cat and 120 hp with cat. They were also available with a Full Time 4WD Dual Range transmission with diff lock. We only had the XT Turbo, no XT N/A or XT6. The early XTs had the push button 4WD, but from 1987 to 1989 they had the FT4WD Dual Range and also a Full Time 4WD Automatik Transmission. Lukas
  20. Lets show her pics and she can choose;) Lukas
  21. Antoher Justy with body kit and alloy wheels: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18277&item=4547463154&rd=1 Lukas
  22. Custom bumpers and body kits, more wheel selection and more image;) Lukas
  23. These steering wheels where very common in the 90s (pre-airbag-era). Lukas
