  1. I saw that. Could I block it off, or is necessary to flow between the heads?
  2. Got a motor! Will post pics as project progresses. Probably going going to custom make a manifold using 40mm Dellorto side draft I have. Going to keep motor basically stock for reliability. It's going to fly in such a light car. David
  3. Ive got an EA82 alternator here, works great. If you dont find a complete motor let me know and I can ship this that way (offer + shipping)

  4. Hi there from Miami Florida. I just had an swap kit made in the UK for fitting a Subaru engine in my 1972 Fiat 500. I plan on installing an EA81 for reliability and simplicity. Anyone have one for sale? Anyone have some suggestions on which engine year to buy? Some pics of my cars are here: http://www.cardomain.com/id/dgoodman I bought the adapter from: http://www.zcars.org.uk/ Here is a new swap all done: http://www.retro500.com/Alistairs_Subaru.html#15 David
  5. Hi.....Do you sill have this for sale?

  6. I will take some pics of it when I'm near it. Staying at my parents over the holidsays so it'll be sometime in the first week of January. How does $300 sound? They're pretty hard to come by here.

  7. Hi there. Yes, I'm interested in the 85 EA81. Can you send me pics to david@goodmans.net. How much do you want for it?

    David

  8. Is there a particular ea81 that is better than others? Been researching, and it's seems like it a is pretty interesting and bullet proof engine. David
  9. Thanks.......83 to what year? Is there a particular ea81 that is better than others? What model cars did they come in Brat, GL...? Thanks for the help! Its going to be an EA swap or a rotary. I've seen Subaru done before: http://www.retro500.com/Alistairs_Subaru.html#15 And this company makes and adapter: http://www.zcars.org.uk/ David
  10. Any suggestions of where to look for an EA series engine? Which cars came equipped with them? Seems like I might have to buy an entire car and pull the engine. David
  11. Some pics of my cars are here: http://www.cardomain.com/id/dgoodman I haven't updated it in a bit, and have some new toys. Regarding engines, I am leaning towards an EA81 for simplicity and reliability. Seems like none are available for sale. Are they that rare? David
  12. Hello from Miami Florida. Researching EJ & EA engines for a swap in my 1972 Fiat 500. I've managed to blow 3 Fiat engines, so looking for some more reliability from the Subaru. David
