ONE WOULD THINK.... That in all the documented leone's with the 4-spoke alloy rims I would be able to find some center caps for a decent price. Nope. great scans like usual 6 star -
Well thats one way to do the towing lights

I also have no intention of buying rom ebay, BUT... these do look considerably close to the timing advance on my 85 EA81 Brat with hitachi disty. Other than bolting up and looking like its doing its job correctly, should I be concerned with things like the throw? or the rating on the diaphragm or??? I plan on going up to oreillys and sizing them up, but are there things i should be cautioned of before attempting something like this. What do you guys think?

I was having electrical problems, a short here, ground problem there, then the ignition module died... Etc. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=136045 when I took the advance off and moved it manually I had no problems with reaching red line in a heart beat. Only problem now is I have to find a new timing advance
-
Its the timing advance... Not moving at all
-
My brat is doing the the same thing... Here's the advice given to me:
-
Weber or Hitachi?
-
sounds like it, lol
-
Not much to look at... yet. but hey, no rust problems here

Depending on how bad it is you could use Engine Degreaser. It works pretty well as long as the buildup isn't horrible. They offer it in gel, foam, and original. All vary in strength. I usually use the gel, let it sit, then power wash.

Went through and checked all the vacuum lines. There were a few cracked ones and a few loose ones here and there. I played with the vacuum advancement a little and now I can just about hit 3k. I also am going to throw it some fresh gas and see how it likes that. And Jonas: new Cap, rotor button, and NGK plugs & wires. Ran for a day till the ignition module died.

i had that thought and it does seem to be acting funny, how do I fix it?
-
Till the ignition module crapped out, yes.

So, my 85 brat has been sitting since September. Now the accelerator pump only drips fuel. Did the plunger dry out? Do I need to rebuild the carb? It idles smoothly and all the timing marks match up on the disty and flywheel. Get it anywhere near 1500rpm and it yells at me like its a timing issue. Is it the carb?

Gotta love the south
-
Yeah, at least that wasn't the initial reason. Im just glad I got it running before cold hits
-
Ok... Im an idiot. I put the wires to the pickup coil on backwards :-p fired right up after that. That's what I get for rewiring with the same two colors
-
Yeah, its timed right. No spark at plug wire
