  1. Replaced the module, and still nothing. Im getting 12v to the coil, and the - side is pulsing. New coil, new module, button, cap, wires, plugs, and disty has no play in shaft...

  3. So I just received my new dash last week (thanks Rust) and according to the vin its from an 82gl wagon and the odometer readings check out so I believe it. My question is: will I have any problems with hooking the tach cluster up to my 85' brat gl? As far as connectors matching up. Any and all help is very much appreciated. T.J
  4. yeah, the pickup coil. Some auto parts places have it listed as an ignition module
  5. Got power to coil & dash today, the problem was a SINGLE wire under the dash far before it hits the fuse box IN the harness. Still no spark, im going to order an ignition module.
  6. Is Ned "cat-equipped"? Sounds like something that would cause those symptoms.
  7. Not all GL-10's are necessarly equiped turbos. And unless someone thought it'd be funny to put an EA82 in place of an 81, it should still be an EA81. Sorry Shawn, didn't mean to post what you just said again... Im on my phone

  10. That's pretty cool. If that happened to my blade 400 I'd be replacing A LOT more than a control board :-p seems pretty durable

  13. I checked the black, blue and white. They are functioning as you describe; howerver, I also have black/red and black/yellow All fuses are getting good power on both sides
  14. I'll go pick up a condenser tomorrow. On a side note if I run a jumper wire from the + side of the battery, to the + side of the coil I get dash lights. But very little spark
  15. No burnt wires, and i checked for continuity.

  18. Has anyone laid a nice coat of paint on these ever fading plastic interior pieces, I was thinking about it but wanted to see if someone has before

Well, I just did my cylinder a few months back and this is how I did it: Remove the plastic cover around steering column, steering wheel, combination switch, unbolt the steering column then remove the two spring actuators that attach to the bracket that pivots. As you will be able to see, there are 4 bolts on the lock cylinder (10 mm if I remember correctly) and not much clearance to get them out. I took them out with a regular combo wrench, and a lot of patience. After those are out, a little tappy and it should slide right off the shaft. I'll bet some other board members have done other things, but this has worked just fine for me! Hope this helps T.J
