i do not know for sure because i am not familiar with JDM stuff. but in the US it would not be a fit. the ''1'' after the second 'Z' does not match your trans. your trans has a 4.44 final drive ratio. the JDM trans you are looking at may not, probably does not.

Needing to install a new transmission in my 98 Subaru Outback. The transmission numbers are TZ102Z2DBA. I noticed there are JDM transmissions available with the following numbers but I don't know if it will work due to gear ratios. The trans I am looking to buy has the following number: TZ102Z1CAA-DG
