I am also in Portland and have a BRAT and was referred to you with my concerns. First off, I have a cancer spot that needs to be addressed and I am worried that my clutch is getting ready to bite the dust. I was quoted 575 for the clutch which in my opinion is high considering a kit only costs about a hundred. Just trying to find a cost effective way to keep the War Pony running. Any advice or info is helpful. Thank you!

I need to have the clutch repaired on my BRAT. I talked to the mechanic yesterday and was quoted 575. That seems high considering a clutch kit only runs 100-120 dollars. Does anyone know of a good mechanic in the Portland area who will do this for less? Or even better, one who will just install the parts after I buy them. Thanks!

I recently purchased a 1979 BRAT and just discovered some cancer spots under the floor board. Can anyone give me an idea how much I will be looking at to fix this? Thank you!!
