  15. in the last year have rebiult 40 engines of those 15 had at least two loose screws on oil pump plate the top 3 screws dosent seem to matter 2.2 2.5 year or milage its like they where missed at factory theese are all engines that oilpump had never been off even with as low as 90000kms loose screws i however could not see thiss causing a leak non of theese engines where leaking from pump unless had a black seal that was cracked

  18. Thiss may help when i do theese trannys i use the cherry picker with a long strap lower it down from above and hook to were the strut brace bolts up then you can lift it up on the front while someone holds up the back works very well and no heavy lifting and it will hang so you can move it into place thiss is how i did them for years untill i got a hoist and tranny jack. I charge 500 for install with a cherry picker and a buddy should take you about 4 hours
  19. get the odd ig mod that loses one side but whould be dead on 2/4 or 3/1 and is very rare to go bad timing belt or burnt valve or the idle moter is come unpluged they send the injector pulse through the idle moter to give it its signal if its unpluged or damaged will not fire #1 injector put a noid light on injector and look for injector pulse
  20. the late model ea81 is hydrolic lifter type if oil preshure is low will tick thiss engine dumps off its exsess oil preshure through the pushrods and rocker assembly they put restictions in the rocker shafts to hold the oil preshure in the block the last one i had with low preshure had a bashed pan that had been pushed tight to oil pickup screen and was restriting the oil pickup screen
