  1. I put a 2.2 crank into them and turn it into a 2.3 destroker cheap turbo engine makes 150 psi on comprestion test. I like the big piston moters 96-97 hydrolic ones
  2. had same problem on 79 brat with jackmans i used the ones with bolt hole in middle and bolted them to axle fitt good i used a crome bumper bolt with slot cut in it to hold them on

  4. go's for 1200$ new berrings rings surfaced block halfs and nurled pistons reasealed is very tight but just shot blocks i dont sell long blocks because to many different heads. I put theese 2.2 into 2.5 single cam cars because is way cheaper and heads will go strait onto a 2.2 makes for better relaibility.No idea what it cost to ship?

Check for injector pulse should click and spray feul everytime engine is cranked most loose injector pulse not spark distruibutor must be grounded coil must be grounded coil bracket and ig mod must be grounded. Sounds like you smoked the feul pump realy is on top of coulom silver realy with red and bule wires next two brown ignition realy check that plug is not partialy pulled of the brown realy happens cause wires are short.
  6. Not worth rebiulding 2.2 what a'm i going to do with the one's i rebiult that are new wraped in plastic waiting for a home funny some one will need one somtime. They do rebiuld nice way better than 2.5 s
  7. Alt main fuse hooked jumpers wrong ? fuse is a 70-100 amp in under hood fuse box check voltage at batt running should be 14.20 but no more than 15 and no less than 12.50.My gess is its not charging right.
  8. By knurl i mean put a cross hatch on outside of piston to make it tighter in bore i have a machine to do it makes a world of differance no more piston slap ever again.
  9. Look for bubbles in over flow bottle when running hot = head gasket i put shop air into cly and look for bubbles in over flow one cly at time. Piston must be at top and have to hold the crank with bar i put 120 psi in cly and should hold with no leaks if air is geting into cooling syestem needs head gaskets. Almost evry weird cooling problem i get is headgasket i chek them first.

There is a bung on rear tail housing to check preshure put a gauge on it and c i did have one break the transfer line that moves fliud to rear of tranny is a 3/8 meatal line above the valve body on mine it just vibrated and broke but very rare. I doubt the basket sheard the splines theese are very tough and have only seen one sheard was on svx that was being neutral droped many times and still sorta worked even with sheard spline thiss makes a mess would see meatal in pan

  12. The only differance between tanks is the overall length i just move the rear xmember forward or back to accomadate tank
  13. 3.3 L svx with buick super charger sticks way far outa i'd say hood but long gone road warrior eat your heart out. Thiss thing sounded crazy and tires where smoked off. Took some serious welding and fabracatinig but it works good as long as you dont need a hood !

Buckets are to loose set the shims 0.25 mm exhaust 0.20 intake you can set them without pulling the engine apart but you need a selection of shims find the loose one pull shim measure it see if you need to add or subtract by thicker on thiner shims.Must be at top dead center of the hole you are checking to measure clearance.
  15. I just blow a bitt of compresed air trough the oil pasage pops them out. Check oil pump/ crank seal if dryed up will pull air into lifters and make it tick clean them up good like perivously mentioned look for berring material in lifters indacates bad berrings.

  17. Love the messy subaru bench dosent hurt to look at a diagram in book shows the axle blown up so you can c all the parts
  18. Lean make them smell funny feul pump not making enuff preshure pluged fillter pinched line. Or did somone put deisel in it { dont laff twice thiss year } had cars with deisel in tanks try and diagnose that pain in rump roast.
  19. Compresion test it see how close the cly psi is if ones low start there. Check cam plug orings as theese like to leak and drip on ground or exhaust.

Wow what alot of mess oly thing i can add is that subaru turns off the voltage to the soiliniod to engage awd not power it to turn on awd . when the soiliniod is off flows into awd cuircut when powerd it dumps preshure.When 2wd fuse is in it powers the soiliniod and dumps line preshure so no flow to awd. I run thiss tranny in dragster i tookout whole awd valve assembly and ran a soilid line to awd strait line preshure all the time my awd do's not slip at all. One more thing the less clearance the clutchpack has the sooner it comes on i set them 1-2 thow or less tighter is good but must still have clearance i custom set clutch packs to customers driving needs and location. some people need more awd than others.
  21. not lifted stock hight i put some loyale rear coil shocks in to beefup the back can haul over 1000lbs in back dosent rub run a 195-65 15 on 6 in toyota 15 in rim
