The end of the bimetallic spring on choke is broken off and choke is floating pull the 3 screws on choke spring cover and check Think you can use a generic choke spring to fix it -
Every single one I do has coolant in the oil you cant see it but its getting into oil the pcv pulls water out and leaves aditives / sugars in oil that can damage engine. The gasket is stainless so stop leaks will not stick to it just slip past it have been here many times. Have done so many Subaru headgaskets I paid for my 6000$ head surfacer in two years and it never rests. But I get very nice surfaces and have it setup just for Subaru heads with aluminum specific bitts. when the surfacer does its 1rst pass I can realy see the low spots on head The lower ds headbolt thru oil passage and front lower bolt on PS head are the worst spots always looks like oil filter is leaking but its not

Anyone looked at how a jet is putt together or how there safty standards are I will take my chances driving a legacy around than taking a cheap flight. At least the subarus wings don't flap and flex down the road. But they are building cars super cheap nowdays its the only way they can be competitive with all the cheap crap hundyis and kias and Toyotas. And the money you spend makes 0 diff in quality ask the jag Guys who spend 4500$ changing one timing chain guide how mutch the saved spending more money of the get go. Rant rant rant lol

My ea81 Tbi brat revs at 2500 for the 1rst 35 min of the day cold then very slowly comes down but never gives me any grief starting and don't have to touch gas peadal -
The rear 02 is very important it checks how mutch o2 is left in ex after the fisrt catt has done its job and ecu bases it fuel trim off that no rear 02 no fuel trim. Tps I never see problems with these sensers ever not on bad one yet BUT many bad wireing harness conectors and not fully pluged in conectors and broken engine wire harness that cause tps codes continuity check from main engine conector to plug on tps had a outback with broken harness between main conector and senser was a real pain to find and senser had been changed 3 times
