lightened the car up removed front and rear sway bars opened up wheel wells removed all extra parts interior and exterior shrouds covers backing plates brakets and that werid hocky puck steel thing from under the engine I also put on 14 isuzu aluminum rims half the weight of the factory steel ones. This car is also a 2dr you are probly right is a bitt heavyer than that I will run it over the truck scale and get exact weight if the scale will register with it on it. I put a turbo on it and intercooler bigger injectors it runs 7 psi boost thiss car hauls rump roast -
I have a pile of brat parts also i put a ea82 carb on the 1.6 intake thiss works good and way easyer to find the ea82 carb has a hudge secondary so pulls hard i just ahd to move the studs outwards and open up the hole a bitt and it had to be a 85-87 non ecc carb all the air fillter box and other stuff pluged in fine. and the old 77 dl will cook the tires off

Yes had a set of rebiuld ea82 heads from machine shop were sold as new and had coolant leaking from under the welds the aluminum is porus and has carbon inpregnated into it is almost impossible to weld and will pass a preshure test. But when it gets hot leaks I have never seen one welded that worked and have lost many hours on junk rebiuld heads. Find good used ones I dont even think I saved any I hated that motor so mutch dam coolant burning ea82s

I have had thiss on a few now have had luck making my own conections with tiny bolts with conectors and sealing washers on ether side to bypass poor conectors why they made the wires so small i will never know but i bet your pump is drawing to many ampps do thiss when is on its way out. I think a nissan stanza uses same pump and is way cheaper than svx one
