  1. i looked closer four screws and the switch comes off could just send the switch part if needed
  2. i bett the front 02 is on its way out have had 3 bad ones in a row all did not set codes for 02 but had midd throttle problems hesatations and surging and loss of power changed 02 and happy happy.
  3. i see thiss when the hydrolic lifter buckets creap up out of there bore and hangup the lifters whont let the valves work properly or timings off somehow
  4. in the one i saw it was a bottle of pop in the tank i did save it after cleaning everything
  5. the smaller the bore the more psi it creates the biger the bore the more volume it makes on the race buggy i whent from 1-5/16 to a 3/4 to increase the preshure. The biger one could not hold the car back but the smaller one did. I do not think the size of master is that important. Is it posibble that has a seized wheel cly or addjusters in wrong or air traped somwere
  6. try giving the top of console a cupple good wacks might turn the light back on
  7. gear ratios +1 or planetary damage in trans alowing the front to spin at diferent rate than rear. But most likly mix match ratios
  8. Next step for me is a new clutch pack for a 95 svx as it uses the updated steels and better clutches and fitts from 89-98 awd 4eat tranys. As i bought a 95 svx and it has 0 awd so fixing awd on a different car today thiss is a real problem here in the snow
  9. That i dont know i doubt it as the coullom switch should be generic 2 wire airbag or 3 wire airbag conector ?

  11. once the air bags fired the coullom just sitts around here to bad your so far i have at least 6
  12. it helped but not enuff thiss gave it more awd for shure butt in thiss cars case the awd drum slip rings had worn into the housing and made a grove so even with the higher preshure the awd was losing its preshure. The repair worked but not the housing i only got about a 60% awd increase on a car that had no awd at all
  13. have you bleed it from the bleeders on the master ? they have to be bleed before the rest of car can be
  14. i only ever see thiss seal leak when there is a berring problem alowing the shaft to move or if the transs diff vent ie dippstick is pluged any play in the mainshaft ?
  15. heres a tip the lower ball joint pinch bolt likes to break so i drill out half the threads from the backside to weaken it so it dosent break then replace it thiss has saved me many broken pinch bolts and greif has a 90% working rate
  16. i have done 4 of the 2.2 -2.5 swaps thiss year or more the egr is the bigest diffaculty everything else is fairly strait forward make shure you use the flex plate off of the 2.5 and change the plastic pcv plate for a meatal one if needed
  17. bummer so far away have a 2wd rear assembly out of 81 gl compleate was removed to make a trailer and never used
  18. i started on the roof and worked my way down the first thing was glue all the roof seams with winsheild urathane to stiffen it up then i used expanding foam in all the cavities in the roof. and installed the intergrated roof rack assemblys out of a outback and there roof plates thiss made the roof 90% stronger then i started on the rest of car
  19. two things check timing belt then check the plugs on crank senser and posibbly crank senser
  20. i realy like the 99 8 bolt ej2.5d blocks i can do a headgasket without it throwing a rod right after. i do get some inbetween year ones in late 98 has the spots for 8 bolts but not threaded not shure if its end thrust or not
