i see thiss when the hydrolic lifter buckets creap up out of there bore and hangup the lifters whont let the valves work properly or timings off somehow -

the smaller the bore the more psi it creates the biger the bore the more volume it makes on the race buggy i whent from 1-5/16 to a 3/4 to increase the preshure. The biger one could not hold the car back but the smaller one did. I do not think the size of master is that important. Is it posibble that has a seized wheel cly or addjusters in wrong or air traped somwere -

it helped but not enuff thiss gave it more awd for shure butt in thiss cars case the awd drum slip rings had worn into the housing and made a grove so even with the higher preshure the awd was losing its preshure. The repair worked but not the housing i only got about a 60% awd increase on a car that had no awd at all

have you bleed it from the bleeders on the master ? they have to be bleed before the rest of car can be -
heres a tip the lower ball joint pinch bolt likes to break so i drill out half the threads from the backside to weaken it so it dosent break then replace it thiss has saved me many broken pinch bolts and greif has a 90% working rate

i started on the roof and worked my way down the first thing was glue all the roof seams with winsheild urathane to stiffen it up then i used expanding foam in all the cavities in the roof. and installed the intergrated roof rack assemblys out of a outback and there roof plates thiss made the roof 90% stronger then i started on the rest of car

i realy like the 99 8 bolt ej2.5d blocks i can do a headgasket without it throwing a rod right after. i do get some inbetween year ones in late 98 has the spots for 8 bolts but not threaded not shure if its end thrust or not
