  1. Im so stoked! This will be my first year and I will be bringin the old wagon
  2. I have an 88 gl-10 and i just chopped the springs a little and bought some of the old wagon wheels from a junk yard and re painted them. Ill have to get some pictures on here
  3. So all I need to do is buy the coilover sleeves and put them on my stock struts?

  4. Ill have to put a picture of my gl-10 on this, I just chopped my springs but I feel like the question was not answered too well, how do you find coilovers that will fit these old subies? I would much rather spend the money to buy them because i want to go lower but i dont want to risk riding on springs that have too much cut off.
  5. I have seen plenty of pictures on here of old subies with 5 lug wheel patterns, I have seen instructions on how to do the lug drill and everything but I am DYING to know how I can get rid of this horrible 4x140 pattern! I have time, money and tools so any suggestions?
  6. Very true! Another question for anyone, im new to the website so I dont know how to navigate it too well but eventually Im thinking about putting an intercooler on my car and a hoodscoop but im not sure how to go about that. Anyone know of how I could do that or know another thread that discusses it?
  7. They arent replacing it, they are just giving us money to do a new one. But yes I would love to do a 5 speed swap! Im just going to use the money to try to buy a wrecked one or one with a blown motor so I can just have everything I need, tranny, clutch, flywheel ect.
  8. thank you! its not that they wouldnt refund us for the part, it was the fact that the part they orginally gave us was just 1/4" too long and it ended up tearing up the diff. But they have agreed to reimburse us for the trouble of having to replace the tranny. Thanks again!
  9. Just to start off, my car is a 1988 Subaru Gl-10 wagon, TWO WHEEL DRIVE, auto trans. Today me and my Dad found out that the current replacement drive shaft on the front drivers side was just tearing up the differential on my car and when we went to the parts store to get a new one, they tried to give us one that was almost an inch longer than the first replacement and then when we checked the one we were replacing, it was about 1/4" too long. For us to get our money back, we need proof of what length the axle should be, does anyone know where to find any old subaru specs out there? We think it is supposed to be 27 and 1/4" but we need it in writing from subaru. Thanks!
