  1. Search button is up there across the top toward the right... If you're talking about an EJ into EA motor conversion, I sell the adapter plates, here's the link: http://mroseusa.com
  2. Sweet. I love that wagon, I'm glad to see you're gonna take good care of it. It's awesome to still have these subes around in the East.
  3. No. Many people have been able to have local machine shops do the work for about the same price. It's also quite easy (and proven safe and reliable) to do the mod yourself with a Dremel tool or die grinder.
  4. Wow, you're getting a wagon, too? Sweet. Sounds like you're becoming an addict like the rest of us I love to see East coast survivors going to good homes where they'll last even longer.
  5. I love the hatch! Looks like you did a solid job with the floors. Reminds me of mine when it was stock, but yours is in a lot better shape (less dents less rust). The hatch is getting to be a really unique car to have in good running condition on the East coast. Better hang on to it!
  6. You can't use EA82 axles in an EA81. They are too long.
  7. The important part is the pressure plate. Get one for an XT6. You'll also need to get a throwout bearing for an '85 Nissan 720 pickup to run that PP with an EA81 4spd. The stock EA81 clutch plate is more than adequate when paired with an XT6 pressure plate.
  8. So maybe I should get a 2.5RS clutch kit? I'm not stuck on using a WRX clutch, but I am kind of stuck on using the transmission and flywheel I already have. Any ideas?
  9. Hi, I'm wondering if a WRX Clutch and PP will work with a 93 Legacy 5 speed trans and flywheel, and if so what year WRX to order the parts for or does it matter? Going to be putting a 200hp EJ20G in front of the Legacy trans so I need a little more grip on that flywheel... Thanks
  10. I'm gonna post in New Gen, maybe someone there will know.
  11. Hi, I've just finished making another batch of EA-EJ Adapter Plates, and they are once again available for ordering on my website: http://mroseusa.com Thanks to all of my previous customers, and thanks to everyone who has waited patiently for me to finish up these plates. I know how hard it is waiting for back-ordered parts, especially with a cool project waiting in the wings. For anyone who is unfamiliar with the product, check out the link above or check out this thread: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=44936 (Just please note that I'm no longer redrilling flywheels). Thanks!
  12. I would like to use a WRX clutch and PP... but I'm not sure which model year to order that will work with the '93 Legacy flywheel and tranny. Anyone know which years are compatible? Are they all the same or what?
  13. Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of any makes and vendors of high performance clutch kits for use with a '93 Legacy 5spd tranny? Or possibly any crossovers from other models and years that would work? I'm looking to run the Legacy tranny behind a 200hp EJ20G and would like something more adequate for handling the exta 65 hp compared to the stock EJ22. Thanks in advance for any input.
  14. My 94 Impreza EJ18 donor had EGR... My 93 Legacy EJ22 didn't... It's hard to tell which year has what.
  15. Finally! '88 Hatchback EJ22 Swap, 4spd D/R 2 1/4" Side-Exit Exhaust 4" lift, Full Frame 29x8.5 Swamper TSLs on 15" 6 Lugs 3.9 LSD, Rear Discs and lots more...
  16. I searched for "wheel adapters" It took about 30 seconds to find this: http://www.truckn-store.com/product_category.asp?id=513
  17. I made a small cut in the right side pipe so I could shift the cat away from the crossmember and then had to shorten the left pipe in two places.
  18. I believe I told you 15x7 with 3.75" backspacing was a good setup in another thread. But thats with a lift. So, sorry I can't be of more help. That's all I've got.
  19. No worries. It was all in good fun and I think you got the info you needed in the end anyway. Gotta take a little ball busting on this board!
  20. You can fit whatever size tire you want if you're willing to cut and bash enough. But realistically? 29x8.50 would be as big as I would go without a lift (not that I would without a lift but whatever). You may end up with a little rub though no matter what if you go that big with no lift... Just get a lift man. Come on.
  21. Thanks! It's a 4" homemade body lift. I keep the springs and torsion bar adjusted all the way down for max travel, better ride etc. I'm running 29x8.5 Swamper TSLs on 15x7 6 lug wheels with a 3.75" offset. Today I'm cutting out my rear fenders where the tires were rubbing. No fun cutting and welding after body work and paint. Oh well that's how it goes building custom vehicles...
