Thanks. Is there a web site that shows what I will be getting my self into if I decide to tackle this problem my self?

The transmission of my 93 Imprenza sounds like it is howling at all speeds. I think it is in the differential because it dosen't change with engine speed just road speed. It started about 500 miles after I installed new pads on the front brakes and rotated the tires. I rerotated the tires and it didn't help. Any suggestions?
