It does it while sitting but is much louder when driving.

My 2006 Impreza hatchback has this loud clicking noise whenever it is at 2'500 RPM it is coming from the engine. I havent taken it to the dealership yet, I'm a poor university student haha I'm just wondering if its a common problem that anyone with Subaru experience knows about.
