ea82t cross member in. 31" off a f-150 just setting next to it Rear diff filled with oil. Breather tube just needs routed into the cab now.
-
The reservoir on a ea82 is the same as a ea81t but not sure on mounting is different. The pump inlet/return lines are routed on different, but could be easily made to work. The ea81t cross member is notched for the header. A regular ea81 cross member could be notched to work though.

No job and I'm in high school.

Got the gl-10 almost disassembled. Rear disk are ready to put on; I just need to turn all 4 rotors and brake pads all the way around. Engine cross member drops are proto typed and should be ready soon. Strut drops are going to be fun to find out to put chamber some what stock. I put the stabilizing rod drops in but need to fab up my 4/5 speed d/r cross member and extend the radius rods. Picked up oil for the rear diff, 5 speed d/r, and ej22 tonight. Project should be running and driving sometime this month.

79 brat bumpers ?
turbosubarubrat replied to bulletproof's topic in Historic Subaru Forum: 50's thru 70's
Buy this or make one like this.I would ask if they have the mounting brackets before buying it though. http://corvallis.craigslist.org/pts/4872384402.html -
Worth somewhere around $100-$350 depending on the person buying it.

Rx, gl10, and the early autos had 3.7. The turbo loyales also came with a 3.7.

If you made bushing kits for the 70-80's subaru's many people would be happy. Since you have to buy almost everything individually right now.

Every thing i have had has come off with a impact. But sometimes i have to use a 3/4 to get them off. I had to break loose the drain plug on a 5 speed d/r a couple days ago with a 25 inch breaker bar and a 4 foot cheater bar since it just wouldn't budge. Have you tried putting a cheater bar on it and standing/jumping on it?

Hello from Sandy, OR
turbosubarubrat replied to mdp729's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Maybe Prwa101 can look at it if it's close to Sandy, especially if you plan to lift it. -
I've ran so many without having it. Even the gl-10 i picked up last week had spark without having it hooked up, but the engines shot so it doesn't matter... If they're still hooked up when i get them i leave them on though.
-
When i tried pulling the heads in the car it wasn't worth it. You would have to undo the motor mounts and lift up the engine. It would just be easier to pull the engine. It might look like a ton of hoses but it really isn't that bad. Just clean off the block really well.

I've been working on my diff getting the skid plate on. (wasn't taken apart when i was welding on it. Today i got the VLSD installed

brat seats-- any value?
turbosubarubrat replied to tractor guy's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
especially if they look new. -
Really depends on condition and what comes with it. Got any pics of it?

Rear with some weight on it with stock wheels and tires. Took out diff because i got a package in the mail... Front end is off. Going to run a ea82t front end. Cross member, struts, brakes, ect. Pwra101 is going to make me the ea81 to ea81 strut drops and cross member blocks. Bought what i believe is a vlsd unit.

I have new f-350 rear shocks on my ea81 hatch back for my 6" lift. They are stiffer than stock. Then it will have new used kyb struts in the front off a ea82t gl-10 sedan. I'm tempted to try to get a set of air shocks now since I have al the stuff to do it minus the struts.

Before you put the new tank on put vinegar in it, in case there is any surface rust in there. Guys with motor cycles do it and it takes off the rust. They let it sit 24 hours or so. I would just put in a couple bottles and flip the tank around every day until you get all the sides.

You also need the ea82 flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate.
