  1. Pulled a 5 speed d/r saturday then steam power washed it. Has either 220k or 222k on it can't remember but it has been resealed at one point. Since it has black rtv sealer on it and the rear shaft has a new gasket Here she is plus a canopy i got for free awhile back.
  2. If its rocking back and forth really hard the #2 and #4 injectors are plugged up so fuel cant go in at the right psi or they are on their way out soon. One of my ea81t's had the same problem where one injector went out and it was running on 3 cylinders.
  3. This might help you the ea71 is a 1600cc engine and the ea81 is a 1800cc engine.
  4. It's been going on and off craigslist for a couple months i've thought about getting it but don't want to deal with cutting up a car into 5 pieces just to get a single range 4wd transmission. If it was a dual range or a awd i would have been all over it and fitted it in my brat.
  5. The black one looks like the same exact pump on my hatch its only meant for a carb system.
  6. If you get this and part it out i might buy the transmission. http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/cto/4480414670.html
  7. Doesn't say anything about it on their website. http://www.picknpull.com/events_and_specials.aspx. Hope it's true though since i want to find a 5 speed d/r awd or 4wd.
  8. I do have the wiring with bulbs with both connectors. When do you want to come get them $20 for 2 sets 1 crack free and one cracked set.
  9. I have the corner lights if you don't have them I'm about 2 miles from you. Your probably the guy with the blue dl wagon off Compton right?
  10. Finally got the trim piece on. Sanded, primed, and painted again.
  11. You might get it open going old school with a coat hanger and time if if it turns out it's the only option besides cutting up the door up. If i were you i would take out the bottom portion of the rear seat and take off the door panel since it's easy to do but might be a challenge to get the bottom off.
  12. 15's can fit without a lift and it has been done before you just need low profile tires.
  13. EA82t's have 180-185cc injectors and so do EA81T's since they're the same
  14. Wouldn't that just change the firing order if he turns it far enough? So it could still be the cap not making good contact to the rotor on 1 of the 4 contacts or a bad wire even straight out of the box. If the coil was bad you wouldn't get spark to any cylinder or weak spark to all. If it was running on 2 i would say replace the ignition module but on 3 it 's probably a wire or cap.
  15. Tack the screws with a welder so you don't have to worry about them coming out.
  16. If it is spfi it could be a bad plug wire, spark plug, cap, stuck valve or valves not seating. If mpfi it could be any of those things plus a bad injector or bad connection to a injector.
  17. Coupe is looking good. It must be super fun to drive around and just cruse with.
  18. It could be both swap in the rear drive train (brakes, hubs, diff, drive line, axels, ect), transmission(4 or 5 speed), flywheel/clutch, and a piece of interior plus a hole in floor for 4wd shifter then you got your self a 4wd subaru wagon.
  19. Did research on this but couldn't find anything really specific besides for ea82's and factory manual doesn't say were its located but says it has one. All i can find on my hatch is the turn signal relay, wiper relay, head light relay, and fuel control unit (little rectangle box mounted with the hood release). After i tore into the dash today to try and get it working so i have a heater if i ever need it but couldn't figure it out. Have power to both heater fuses on fuse box but don't have power to the fan switch, resistor, or blower motor. If i hook the blower up straight to the battery it turns on fine. Pics of location and advice very are appreciated.
