so does this have the ea82t in it? i didn't think it was being produced in 82, i guess someone could have put the gl-10 emblem on the back and put the ea82t in it

the 82 wagon is a turbo charged ea81t which there only were roughly 1000 made, the ea81t brat only had 300-500 made, and the sedan im not sure, but anyway very rear wagon

the second gen handles work to i have used one off a 1986 brat door handle on my dads 79 brat tailgate and it worked great but its a tight fit

have done much to it besides clean the gas take out with a steam washer(it has sat for 16 years) and fixed the triangle pieces with jb-weld see pics

the low beam is not working on my 1985 brat but the high beams work great, i have tried useing a different switch but still the same, so what do you guys think it is? a bad wire or connection? i check some of the fuses and one was blown but it was for the tail lamp for license plate so no difference i can check the rest but i checked the obvious like the head light fuse, it hasn't been run since the engine was put back in so could it be a blown fuse link?

whats your opinion on mounting a electric winch up side down? i dont think it would hurt it but what do you guys think? im going to eventually mount my winch on my 85 brat's winch bumper and i dont want it on top because i just installed the third eye so should i make a custom mount to make the winch mount like it normally would on top but on a special mount or just flip the winch over and call it good?

between me and my dad we have like 5 or 6 sets of those caps, 2 sets of beuty rings, plus all the rims my dad and i have which is about ten sets of steelies, a set the ones that are aluminum with the wholes all over, a set of 14 inch peugeots, and we never have payed $200 for any of the rims we picked up the peugeots for $40 last winter from a guy parting out his peugeot, hell we picked up a 78 brat for $100 bucks with almost no rust and it ran the next day after we brought it home

Plans are to finish up body work, take off rear bumper, and fill in the dents with bondo from privious owners rear end accident. fill in the the dents on the door and fender, finish tail gate, tackle the wheel wells, finish interior wiring the radio, and customize the center console to have a piece of plated aluminum go over where the electric window controls went. I'm going to have toggle switches hooked up there for the third eye, kc lights, and another set of lights, convert the rear brakes to disk brakes that i got off a gl-10 wagon, prime the whole thing and get rid of all rust then paint:Dand undercoat the whole bottom:headbang:

still need help where to connect wires to the dpdt radio shack relay, but pic up date:popcorn:

you going to paint the subaru emblem? hope you dont go tape crazy like i did when i did it

use turtle wax trim restorer on the bumper and all the black plastic pieces like mud flaps, mirrors, and side moldings ect. works fantastic i use it on my 85 and it last about 3 or more months then you put some more on, you planning on any customations or anything? im working on mine when i can it gets addicting:brow:http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=133905

still need help wiring the third eye i have seen all the third eye, passing lamp, center light, center lamp, ect. on this sight but haven't found any that really helps me actually wire it the one on indeys world was somewhat helpful but it doesn't explain where you put the wires very well and where to hook the wires for a toggle switch help is very much wanted!!! besides that, pics update tomarrow, i gutted out the interior after a mouse got in:mad:and stuck it up really bad it left a trail in the whole cab and even under the carpet:eek:im mad how it chewed a whole in the plastic piece by the seat belt, while im in there im taking the rust out with the stink, and fixing stuff, also i have got the winch bumper almost setup

looks like you got the third eye radiator support or are you welding the old one on? just asking because i cut/drilled out mine to put the third eye on my 85 brat

i use a paint gun with rust-oleom in the bucket with mineral spirits and it looks great, if your air compressor went bad go on craigslsit and pick up a cheep one that is capable of what you want to do, i have painted quite a lot of stuff like this

i need help in wiring the third eye to the radio shack relay all the diagrams and information i have found so far has not been very specific to where each connection goes so if you have wired one up and can tell me where each wire goes it would be very helpful and apprieated
