hears the bumper on my brat came off a ea82 wagon moved the brackets over and it fits not very stylish but it TOUGH:headbang:

get a steering wheel like my dads project brat im working on for him and it will look like a go-kart:lol:

good luck finding a lock set for your brat i have 5 keys for my 85: doors, ignition, gas tank, glove box, and ignition. i could make it have 2 keys (have full extra set from 86 wrecked brat i tore apart) but if someone tried to break into my car they would be screwed with all the different locks especially with the locking steering wheel that im going to put the anti-theft bar on:headbang:

i tried putting a ea81 carb. on my dads 78 ea71 brat once it was a different bolt pattern so it wouldn't fit without a adapter plate

yah that would be a good start because it would suck if he didnt have the second notch for the ac belt to go on and the longer piece for the ac motor to go on above the alternator, it will tell wheather it is equipped if it is on the dash above the radio and around the cigaret lighter and heat controls

i think the 14in peugeots are a good upgrade they fill up the wheel well a little more and it gives it a cleaner look thats very close to stock without lifting:headbang:plus u can always through the 13s back on because same bolt pattern:D

im looking for one or just a whole tail gate i have two handles ones rusted out and the other ones bent from the brat i tore apart

u should get a set of peugeot 14in rims with 195/75/14's on them gave my 85 brat a 3 inch lift plus if u tighten the suspension it will lift the front another inch:headbang:also it makes it so when u do very sharp turns the tires dont rub the fenders;)

have u tried putting on the carb. yet? when u do u will realize the the ea81 and ea71 have different size base/different place to blot on, so u would have to build a adapter plate so your better off waiting to rebuild carb. but the the ea81 will give u more hp than the ea71 carb

i see u got a factory tool kit nice:cool:i have one to but it came from a 78 brat, i also have the owners manual and factory service manual:headbang:i highly recommend u get a factory service manual for it, it has everything it even has a diagram to how to fix your third eye:cool:
