  1. Your sube is trying to tell you something! Lol, but seriously make sure its not just the light coming on, maybe the vaccume cylinoid is leaking?
  2. That's nothing try tracing a code 43 on a 4.3 vortec, that had me chasing electrical conections up and down that stupid car, worst intake desighn I've ever delt with.I hate spiders anyway lol
  3. Mine was a huge PITA when I put my aftermarket radio in. it turned out someone had put an inline fuse holder on the constant power source. I had to trouble shoot the wiring harness with a multi meter before I figured it out. I do know that it wasn't like that from the factory though
  4. Hmm, I didn't catch that. That's interesting, I'm not sure what would cause a fuel leak on the drivers side.
  5. Yep, the fuel filler neck is a common area to rust out in these cars. Go to the junk yard and pull one, replace it
  6. Personally I would take it home, put a new belt on it and do a compression test. That is cheap and a good way to find out if the valves got damaged or not. If you have good compression then go ahead and do the idlers, water pump and new cover on it. Its worth a shot for sure
  7. Just because its not getting fuel doesn't mean the pump is bad, a bad cam sensor can cause this as well. Besides a fuel pump on one of these is super easy to do. Start by checking the codes and we can go from there
  8. I have a 93vgmc and a 90 subaru. I love my gmc, but my Subaru is superior in most every way. Sometimes they can be tricky, but you just need to have faith it will work and listen to the people on here. We can help you get it going, but your going to need to help us help you
  9. I wouldn't worry about it a whole lot unless your having issues.
  10. I would think it might be okay if you were just using them off road if you could find some that had some nice clean out. Aside from that though I could defunatly see issues with handling and on a slick road. it would probably be a recipe for disaster as all year or round tires
  11. And there is also a forum on here for parts wanted and parts for sale What do you need?
  12. Jack one wheel of the ground and turn that, the driveshaft should turn. Then try holding the driveshaft and see if it still turns. If it does then something is wrong. An open diff with both tires off the ground can be turned without the driveshaft turning, it just transfers it to the other wheel
  13. The car won't make any sounds just by pushing it. I'm not sure what ring your talking about though
  14. I have a mobile repair bussiness, but I've had quite a few subarus, that's the main reason I have all these parts. I've had more first gen legacy's than any other car
  15. Those are three comon codes that are easy to fix. I would start with the injector, these are a comon failure on these cars. You can buy just one and replace it, thats a fairly simple process. Or you can buy a used fuel rail and just pull the rail on that side and replace it, both methods are on here and both are simple fixes Air control valve probably needs to be cleaned. info on here about how to do this as well also fairly simple. Canister purge valve isnt a big deal unless you have to pass emissions. the valve itself is most likely the problem, one bolt, one connector and a couple vac lines. Its like a five minuet job, its located under the intake on the passenger side follow the lines from the canister and you'll find it. The valve should cost about $5 at pull and save. I have a good one I'll send you with pics of location for $10 shipped I also have a full set of auto injectors for your car as well
  16. It sounds like your trans is in limp mode for some reason, I'm not much on autos so I'm not sure what duty cylinoid b does. Clipping that wire will cause your car to be locked in 4wd, don't drive it ddown dry roads like that it will screw something up. More that likely it was preventing the AWD from grabbing because it was in limp mode and it is probably caused by a bad cylinoid
  17. I've wondered this myself, I have a pristeen 93 GMC and I found a mouse inside it the other day. Sure scared me when I was driving down the road and a mouse jumped out from under the seat. I still can't figure out how the damnd thing got in there, I don't have any holes in the floor and there is grating over the air intake for the hvac, so how the heck did the bugger get in there?
  18. Hopefully the tourque bind didn't cause more damage than just an axle. I would check the rest of the axles and the driveline, if that all checks out the I would check the front and rear diff out.
  19. I had a set of cooper weather masters t On my gl that were 185/75/r13 and they had some nice clean out. I buried my gl once and was still able to climb out with them on
