i vote for a welder/generator.and if anyone knows the elctrical end of this i am willing to build it.. i have run into a few plans online, but nothing that i have the patience to read....ie one that is not 75 pages and not condensed. an air pump like the vdub idea might be pretty cool too. cheers, brian

you don't read do you? this is just for the show.i thought the show would be later and i would have time to get it on a frame.which i won't be able to accomplish so, there are things that i neglected to do that need done....so that i can have something to bring(to the show) and rock and roll in:grin:

obviously you have never seen him drive his cars..... -
jerry did that on his first hatchbrat.and it is alot easier than building a cambered strut top.

but stop leak also gets into the other parts of your engine.and can clog up those vital, don't wanta lose passages tat are smaller in size. these products can kill your water flow and ruin your rig. use the egg if you must, then take the damn radiator out,buy some 50/50 lead solder and get a propane torch.clean the areas around the pinholes and heat until almost red.apply the solder much in the same manner as soldering electronics.this will fill the holes permanently.i have done many a repair on radiators without fail. oh, and start paying attention! my last fiasco was a very large wrench used to turn the motor to top dead center for a valve job that never got taken off. well, i started the engine.boom, clank, chingggggggg onto the ground it went, after it slammed into the radiator.yikes. i double check everything now. cheers, brian

you sound offended.

ok....so,i have gotten a dream vehicle, getting rid of the wagon and using the brat.i just like the brat betterr.and have talkedd about making a tube frame eventually. back to it,i have decided that i will be towing the brat down. but, i will not be able to have it on a frame yet. so. i have to make some goals, publicly state them and get goin here we go i would like to do the following get the motor in. do shocks and struts trim a little weight here and there actually wire some things properly and wrap up some secrets that i have yet to reveal. more to come as soon as i can cheers, brian

that"bumper" is made by someone that is not allowed on this board anymore. i suggest that if you get ahold of him you do not trust him from afar.make a deal in person with goods exchanged at that time.cheers, brian

didn't figure you'd mind scott.cheers, brian

pretty much everything you will do will depend what you want to accomplish.sjr and rollie and a few others are up there in your neck of the woods.......check'em out on there shop nights.i'm sure they won't mind.how far do you want to go?that is the question.

myself, and others have been running them for a while. most under harsh condition and have had better results with these(gck's)than oem,or others.hence the reason i told you to search for them. experience is the answer here.

yota.i am currrentlylooking into the possibility of using an old school spicer 18 transfer case and and t-90 trans.i have a bellhousing for an old 6 cylinder motor that is just the right size for adaptation to an ej-22.it is pretty crazy actually.extremely stoked about this because the gearing in the spicer 18 is low as ************.i'll get pics soon
