  7. actually, would you just do it for me?
  8. it does have t-tops.and i have looked at the options, but a backer of some sort i believe is in order.and fiberboard is a damn good option.so cheers for bringing that up.cheers, brian
  9. push it ,push it real good, unstz,un,un, sorry.
  10. i was thinking about putting the cb up top in my brat, and curious as to how i should do it.damn, i never though about fiber board.good stroke ol'chap, good stroke.how many stereo's do you need?
  11. boom....wile-e-coyote is stopped in his tracks.....roadrunner is smilling and of course...beep...beep got the battery isolator in,and wired to the auxilary fuse box.electrical tests prove positive.both batteries charge off of alternator and just need to rewire all of the ACC. AND PUT THE LIGHTS ON.sorry, didn't mean to yell. only 5 days till i leave for the show and am seeming to be caught up.the rack needs prep and paint.and then mounting of course.any body else been scrambling to get ************ done?
  12. baccaruda and i will be in hood river thursday night.thats when we can get there.if help is needed setting up then i'll guess we'll help.or if you guys are going on a trail run friday day then hook up with us.i'll be on channel 5 or 13.whatever you can holler at me on,do it.some pre-funk might be fun:grin: cheers, brian
  13. damn, an answer.that was way to hard.thanks mate:grin:
  14. crazy ,yes.stupid ,no.and i have a 100 amp alt.cheers
  15. no subs, no amps, just some lights cb and a deck with some good speaks.the fuse block is going under the hood just about 2 ft from the batteries.so from what you are saying if i have 2 lights on 1 fuse,2 lights on another, the cb and radio can be on one,and the rest will be for add ons i should be alright with a 100 amp max block rated at 30 amps per circiut max..all the jargon of converting this and dividing that really ************s me up.i cannot do simple math but understand the chaos theory? how does that work?cheers mate:grin:
  16. i understand that is what it means.what i am doing to myself in my brain is by far more involved than it needs to be obviously.and my house is on a 100 amp service.(it's old)what i am trying to figure out is how to take the info already given to me and apply to my certain situation.i work alot, i spend time with my family alot and am generally stressed out..i can read.it does not mean it computes.i am a hands on kind of guy.the overall rating of the block is what i am talking about.to me it makes sense that a block that has 6 circuits,at 30 amp max per circuit should be able to handle 180 amps.but, the research i have been doing states to me that some blocks may have 6 circuits at 30 amp max and only handle 160 amps total.what i am asking is why it is that way.i am not asking for someone to come over and wire my car for me,i am not an FNG.i would like to KNOW what is going on before i start to ************ around with my electrical and modifying it like everything else i have.limits bro, limits.i like to break them, but i do not like fire.
  17. cheers guys,i am going to pick up a fuse block that says 30 per circuit max.but it does not have an overall rating of what the block itself will take.i would think that it would be 180,but i found one that says it can handle 25 amps per circuit and only take a max of 125.what the hell does that mean?thanks again, brian
  18. ok,so i am finally to a point to do some wiring on the brat.i am adding a secondary fuse block for my acc.'s.what i have encountered is that these fuse blocks usually have an amperage rating per circuit and an overall amperage rating.where or what is the conversion between wattage(lights & stereo) and amperage?i obviously run about 13.5 to 15.6 for my voltage depending on rpm's.does my voltage affect the amperage the block can take?is there a bigger block in my future than i am looking at? i am looking at about 4 lights(2-55and 2-100 watt)a very low key stereo,c.b. and other add ons later.i only want a 6 gang fuse block.but what do i need to get,or am i making this way to complicated?cheers, brian
