what about a 32/36 with ported heads, bigger exhaust, ground cams,a hell of a valve job and a cherry on top? why do i want to do it.because i hate fuel injection, unless it is on a diesel. -

i have fitted one of those disties now and am working on a manifold. that escort distie fits like a glove with very little modification. -
the jeep frame is 66.7 inches, the hatch is 63.8 inches.jerry may think the frame is to wide because of where the frame would match up....but i think it would work.i want the extra width anyway.the driveshaft is a cakewalk.....your concerns right now need to be centering that body, making sure that a stuffed suspension is not going to mash up your rear 1/4 panels.cause were talkin mad flex for such a light body, even on stock springs.

scroll down in the link.....this is just sick........ http://members.shaw.ca/snowjeep/rticalc.htm yep.!

the jeep cj-7 is 93.5" the yj and tj are both 93.4" these are wheelbase numbers. now on a brat it is only a 3.3 inch difference. on a hatch it would be around 93.3 good luck.....and oh yeah........searching is aloud:grin:
-
if you use a zuke, you need like 7 or 9 inches..........if you use a nissan, you cut some out,if you use a jeep ,you only need 3 inches or so.....i been wondering too.

yeash, they are the shiznit.....i am not a hrdcore offroader with my soob yet....but i come across some really mean job sites actually.and have definitely run them flexed for quite a ways, and beat them, and munched them,and,and.......so i am a firm believer in them defiinitely.

what i noticed about gck axles was that the outer cup actually looks like it is bigger.actually,on both ends it looks bigger. is it possible that they are putting ea-82 axle inner and outer axle cups on an ea-81 axle length?hmmmmm:-\

i was looking at an early veedub transporter's air ducts on a friends bus and must say that right in the front of the bed with some air scoops might work nicely.the plumbing definitely has to go under the car.at that point the extra space in the body up under there on a brat would be perfect for a pump placement and other things as well.i have been looking at that option lately.however, i still feel that a nice cowl inductive space underneath the hood is doable.and less expensive for that matter.

so I didn't last long with only 2 soobs :)

if you don't use4 that hood scoop , i want it.it's my color.... -
go to your brat and take the middle cover off.it is literally a snap and go event.then you will see how easy it is.i would not ruhn power through your overhead light.the guage of wire is very small and you run the risk of burning it up.it is about a 20 minute event to take everything off in order to run cable for your antenna and run a power wire.hella easy.
