  1. i once thought of making a removable or fold down guard for the brat ,but then quickly realized that it would get in the way more than it would help.
  2. that is one big allen wrench.....i have already made one crankcase bolt tool.....it slips so went searching, only thiong i could find was a 5/8 allen.i am in the process of filing it down........crazy big

  5. as far as the throttle cable, you should be able to move the mount bracket to the other bolt on theh tranny.......voile the coolant passages are hooked up to the core passages ,one in and one out.where are they hooked up on yours?
  6. the output shaft on the tranny was more the culprit on mine......it was mud............and then it got into my t-out bearing.don't ask me how...
  7. you must not turn very sharp......... fender trimming no, but you will have to do some inner fender "massaging" with the bfh........
  8. if after replacing it you run into problems......it could be the throwout bearing binding on the output shaft....and that sucks.i had that happen to me.it is not fun.............just something to think about
  9. lets see edrach bratsrus1 xsnrg baccaruda flowmastered87gl flow alltalk jeffroid northwet spanky pete ...yep i think thats it....it's harder than it looks

  12. like i told you when we met pat, your a rock star......i actually was doing it right for the test......yet it appears that i may have to dig deeper.i looked at a diagram for my brat and it states that there should be a black ground, and there is not....i have two red on both sides.i checked for the striped wire ,as i had seen on the diagram ,not that i could see with a trouble light.i will look in the daytime i guess.i checked the lights themselves with a battery and they work.it's gotta be in the harness..........
  13. this is the one i have http://www.iequus.com/item.asp?cid=60&pid=4320 i just bought it.i am pretty ignorant when it comes to electrical, but now is the time tio fix that,.......along with my taillight, and license plate lights on the new bumper.i just want to test those things and make them work.it is the testing that i am having problems with.i read the instructions , and it tells all of the tests that you can do and how to hook up the leads to do it.but you have to know what all that stuff means to use it.... help
  14. it is actually pull and save.they have a pretty good turnover, whiteys will rip you off.
  15. go to your local case machinery dealer and pick up some of there stock sealant that they use for their machinery....it will cost you about 20 bucks , but it is well worth it.ask jerry what it is called............

  17. soak them in pb blaster....that should clean the livin hell out of them....
  18. spokane is allright if you end up having a good paying job.we pay for our mortgage cheaper than we would pay for rent.and that is 600.they have some community oriented ideas starting ,but lack in the true motivation to do anything about it.the schools a refu cking awesome as far as i am concerned.my daughter is eight and has had awesome teachers in the past couple of years.not bad ,all four seasons, and always needing a new weather man .there are alot of shops here....main dealerships for the eastern washington area....and private....not a bad place to be as long as you get out like you are talking about..who knows .....check it out.
  19. it hurts doesn't it,when manna falls from heaven............
  20. all you gotta do is switch the strut caps........the tricky part is to make sure your brake line tabs are still usable......
  21. hey hey hey , lets not get outa my mind here......Have you considered fabricating a tube frame for the front and having a clamshell front end made? That would save you even more weight...
  22. i heard of a guy doing it with a k5 blazer frame and a brat..........never saw it though...
